Beware of a man named Klaus Lendering, previously doing business on the internet as Checkpoint66 and now doing business as SoCalClassics.  Klaus Lendering is a German citizen in the United States illegally.  He has previously been deported from the United States but has snuck back in illegally.

Klaus adveritses classic cars for sale on the european website mobile.de he also sells cars on Ebay and Craigslist.  While his targets are primarily european, especially German he will also scam locals.

Klaus takes photos of cars he does not own, and posts them for sale on mobile.de and his own site previously Checkpoint66.com which is now down, he has switched to SoCalClassics.net.  He also buys cars and then sells that ONE car to SEVERAL people.  Klaus has relocated from San Diego, CA to Memphis, TN because too many people he burned out of 10's of thousands of dollars were looking for him here in California.  He relocated with his wife Petra Lendering and their children Joshua Lendering and Joey Lendering.

Klaus presents himself as a straight up business man, some victims have actually gotten their cars, only to be burned on a later transaction once he has gained his victims trust.  There are too many victims to count!  The police and FBI are aware of his scams but he uses the internet to skirt the laws.

DO NOT BUY a car from Klaus Lendering or anyone from SoCalClassics.net.  SoCalClassics.net is a fraudulent website.  If you contact SoCalClassics.net you will reach either Klaus Lendering or Shaun Armour who is working in partnership with Klaus to defraud people and steal their money.

PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU DEAL WITH KLAUS YOU WILL BE BURNED!
