As it turns out Mr. Lyders check was mailed to him in January of 2006 (long before he decided to file this report). He did not receive it in a timely fashion because as it turns out, he moved. Like I said, "Anyone reading this could see why I would prefer to give him his money back."

As of this post Ms. Thompson has satisfied the judgements against her company. After the exchange on this site Ms Thompson contacted me and made arrangements to have a check sent to me. I received the check and was able to cash it.

Our business is concluded and I wish Ms. Thompson and her company the best of luck in any and all of her future endeavors.

I am also stunned that Ms. Thompson is attemping to portray herself as a victim with her statement "Anybody reading this and the names you've called me can see why I would prefer to refund your money as opposed to working with a person of your character". I gave Ms. Thompson multiple chances to fulfill the services she was contracted to provide to no avail.

Ms. Thompson should remember the conversation in her new car (which the money I loaned her helped her purchase) where she explained to me that after I requested an audit of monies that were given to her to complete the services of our contract, she confessed that she used the money for her company (Boss Contracting)and could not pay the money back at that moment nor did she know how long it would be before she would be able to repay the money. That was the las conversation that I had with Ms. Thompson.

I called her home repeatedly and had even spoken with her father a few times. Being a professional man I did not go into detail with him about the monies owed to me by Ms. Thompson. SHE NEVER RETURNED ANY CALLS !

She had the option to go to arbitration instead of being heard by a judge, she never replied to the request. She also did not appear in civil court after being served.

Im sorry the Ms Thompson feels victimized but she has only herself to blame. I contracted her to provide services to enable me to open my own business. She was engaged to my partners uncle (whom in one of her posts here she says was not a good provider-how can a man who is just coming out of jail after more than 10 yrs be a good provider?!)

My partner had HIV and it was extremely difficult for him at times to travel to work. My idea to open the business was in response to that problem. My store would have been around the corner from where we lived so my partner could go home and rest when he needed to and work in the store when he was able. I explained the to Ms. Thompson the evening in her car , thinking that she may then understand the importance to me of having the contract completed.

Again to no avail. So I think my initial comments on this post were as professionl as possible. They were not profane nor untrue. She choose to no longer "work with a person of my character" after I requested her to fulfill the services of our contract or to refund the monies that were given to her for that purpose.

Via certified mail, which means you had to sign for it. This was early in January of last year and made payable to Gary Lyder, at the address I have on file. Anybody reading this and the names you've called me can see why I would prefer to refund your money as opposed to working with a person of your character. Therefore, I sent you more than enough with interest to prevent this type of nuisance. YOU HAVE BEEN PAID!!! Although I don't owe you anything if you have any further questions, by all means, I will continue to maintain my professionalism and swallow my pride so you can feel free to contact me.

However, your partner's uncle was not a good provider and he was supposed to help with the payments. He never did, therefore; I paid you every cent of your money with interest last year. Why didn't you write about the fact that the problem has been solved as quickly as you exaggerated about it in the first place?
