Credit Protection Associates aqknowledges debt not owed on phone but will not remove from credit report or provide documented information on debt Dallas Texas

I have an item from Credit Protection a*s. on my credit report, I tried the telephone number that was listed on the report and the number was out of service. I looked up the number and I made contact with Credit Protection Assoc. and spoke with a representative named Tiffany. I inquired about a collection listed on my credit report from Hollywood Video. She took all of my information and looked it up and told me how much I owed. I asked what the debt was for, and she told me the company Hollywood Video. I asked what specifically it was for, where it was from (location) and when I supposedly got the item that they are trying to collect for. She told me that they do not have that information that I have to contact Hollywood Video to get that. I then asked for some sort of signed agreement, or something with my signature for what this debt was for, again, she did not have that and informed me that it is my responsibility to get it directly from Hollywood Video. Fine, I then asked what store I had to contact. I got the reply that it was one in Las Vegas, NV, but that she did not know specifically which one, nor did she have a contact phone number. I asked how they could put something on my credit report with so little information, to which she told me that all Hollywood Video does is give them my name and address and an amount to collect. I asked who sends it in, and if I could contact that person, and she is not allowed to give out that information. I asked what information they had for me, she read off an address that I had never lived at. I informed her that I had never lived at that address, and she told me that it may not be my debt and to dispute it with the credit bureau to get it removed. She then told me that they can not remove items from a credit report once they are put on. I knew that was a lie, which meant that talking with this woman would get me nowhere, I then thanked her for her time and ended the call.

So just about the entire conversation with Tiffany was against the Fair Debt Collection Act, but I have no way to prove it except my word against theirs. I highly doubt that the company will acknowledge that one of their employees broke any laws. So again, my word against theirs. I think back and wish that I had been more stern and attempted to argue on the phone with the collection agency, but hindsight is 20/20.

The next month another item is placed on my credit report from Credit Protection Assoc, again from Hollywood Video, for the same amount. I now have the exact same debt, which is not mine, listed twice on my credit report.
I have not lived in NV for several years now and the new debt added is dated this year.

It's like they are trying to punish me for inquiring by putting it on my report again. I have not made contact with the collection agency after that initial call with Tiffany.
