Last year, I ran into financial difficulties, and reached out to the internet for help. I came across a debt management or consolidation company that offered to help me with all my unsecured debts, as well as payday advance loans. I know knot many if not all legitimate debt companies do not help with these types of loans, so I was thrilled to hear that they could help me with them.
They referred me to a law firm, Jason D. Hass in Arizona, and together they had me sign contracts and agreement to help me battle my creditors and help my credit report.Since I have enrolled I have paid a total of almost $1,600.00 in fees, with no results.

My creditors continued to call me, as they said they would, but didn't slow, rather, they increased. i developed a relationship with one of my creditors and begged them to allow this company to work with them. Willingly, the creditor waited and waited for information from my debt management company. I asked the creditor to keep me informed of what was happening with my deliquent account, so i could track the work of the management company. phone calls, letters and faxes were sent in regards to me tot he management company. all the while, the creditor kept me informed of what was and was not happening. The creditor informed me that the company was virtually impossible to contact, and little to nothing was done on my behalf. So what was I paying my monthly fees for?

a few months later, another creditor served me with court documents to appear in court. I was astonished, but the management company told me that this was normal, and that they were doing all they could to help me. I ended up contacting the company and speaking with the representative who stated that nothing had been done on the account, no contact, letters of hardship that the law firm told me was going to be sent within weeks of enrollment, absolutely nothing had happened since I stopped my payment with them per the management companys advise. I needless to say settled with the creditor for low monthly payments that i could have done on my own, without paying all these rediculous fees for nothing to the management company.

I have tried contacting the company to cancel my account and refund my money that they have been accepting without doing any of the work for.
No one will call me back, no email responces, not telephone return calls, nothing. is there ANYTHING that I can do?!
please help!
I would really like to have that money back to help settle the debt that they failed to help me with!
can anyone help me?!

When your mechanic is working on your car, do you grab a wrench and get in the way?

AUTHOR: The Real Story - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 09, 2008

Chad was told that we do NOT consolidate, nor do we handle payday advance loans. And absolutely NO suggestion was made to help him with his "credit report", or credit score for that matter. He was given guidelines, like all legitimate companies do that are providing this service. Chad completely disregarded our policy and started trying to work on negotiating his debts behind the scenes. Common sense tells you that the credit card companies will try to take advantage of this dissention by creating a riff between client and company. Why would they negotiate with us while he was attempting to by pass our proven strategy to negotiate with them directly? CC companies can sense a confused person and will cease upon that in an attempt to collect all of the debt from that individual rather than settle for much less with our company. Chad expected an immediate settlement but had no money to pay for that settlement.

Again, common sense tells you that we can't get a settlement offer worked out unless there is a way to actually pay for that offer when it comes back to us. How would it look if we worked out a settlement offer with a CC company and then had to call them back and say, "sorry our client doesn't have the money available?" And why contact us for help when he is going to disregard that assistance and try to manipulate the process behind the scenes? Because Chad wasn't honest with us in the first place, hasn't been honest with the CC companies, and was not honest in writing this "report."

All of his phone calls, and emails were returned within 24 hours, and there were many. All of the proper steps were taken, but every time we began making progress he would step in from behind the scenes and try to engage the creditors himself. Which is fine, but don't come asking for assistance and then cry foul when it was HE that impeded the process.

Like this is titled; When you go to the garage to have your car worked on do you grab a wrench and start working on the problem yourself when you don't have the proper knowledge or experience to do so? And if you do, why go to the garage for help?
We have assisted many people who are very very pleased with the outcome. Have a look at our web page, or call for verification.
I understand his angst and frustration about his financial predicament but the bottom line is that it was CHAD who has acted very immaturely and un-professionally. And it was Chad who impeeded the process and did not allow the job to get done.

Respectfully,

John Anderson
