Orion Processing is World Law Debt, Swift Rock, Mesa Rock, Topaz Financial, and Clear Your Debt. They are acting only for money, and ruining lives.

I used to work for World Law Debt (Orion Processing), and witnessed a lot of unethical practices, including the facilitation of embezzlement and willing procurement of judgements against clients.

1. A client who was a very elderly lady, but very faithful to the program. OP arranged a settlement with a law office. The paralegal at the law firm who negotiated the settlement with OP directed OP to place the funds in her personal account. OP was not aware that this was a personal account, thus this was done involuntarily. But, once everything came to light, OP did nothing to help their client. This was over 2 years ago, and this client is still in litigation with Capitol One, and her credit score dwindles everyday.

2. In June of 2010 OP switched their funds holding bank from Rocky Mountain Bank and Trust to Midfirst Bank. This was a necessary change I was told. OP had many long term settlements set up through RMBT, and these all had to be transferred to Midfirst Bank to ensure the settlements didn't default. For the most part this was done smoothly with a few exceptions. One of my clients had a 3 part settlement set up, and the final payment of around $300 was due in June 2010. This payment was not made due to the bank change. Once I realized this (October), I called the law firm I negotiated the settlement with to see if they would take the final payment of around $300 to settle the account. This was in October 2010 (4 months after the payment was supposed to have been made), so I was told that it was too late, and the new settlement amount was around $800. Trying to protect the client and the company, I sent multiple emails to the COO, President, Director, and Accounting Manager stating that if we can just make this additional $500 payment, the client wouldn't get sued, and she will never know about this. I should have told the client immediately, but I was trying to protect the company. I never received any responses to my emails, and this issue is still open. The client received a judgment, and the offer is now up to $1200. I brought this up multiple times in 2010, and 2011, and OP never did anything to correct this mistake.

World Law Debt is no better than Swift Rock, Mesa Rock, Topaz, Or Clear Your Debt. The same people are still running things, and they are just as greedy as ever. They pay their employees $10/hr to start, and expect them to handle 300 - 500 clients each. I worked there for 2 years, and was a supervisor when I unethically fired. I know from experience that no one has ever been able to successfully handle more than 300 clients, and really most can't handle that many. Those who do exceed the 300 client load usually leave for a better job. The salesmen, or "enrollment specialist" will say anything to make you sign up, and then you loose every dime you will put in to the program. They will NOT represent you in court, you will NEVER actually speak to a lawyer in person, and EVERYTHING THEY DO FOR YOU YOU CAN DO FOR YOURSELF. This program can work for certain people who have a lot of money to pay their debts, or people who are uncollectible.

This company gives no benefits to their employees, 1 week a year of sick time/vacation, and they often threaten to fire people. They even talk of mass lay offs, and reorganizing the entire staff right in front of their entire staff. The morale in this building is very low, and everyone is too underpaid to truly have their client's best interest in mind. Trust me, I worked their, and the turn over rate is very high, and the longest tenure in the building is less than 5 years. Around 80% of the employees have been there less than one year because of the terrible ethics practiced.

Please don't sign up with World Law Debt. If things are really bad, you will probably have to file bankruptcy anyway, and if things aren't that bad, then research how you can do this yourself. It is very easy, and you just need to make sure you get every agreement in writing. TX, PA, NC, SC clients are all very well protected, so please research your rights. If you are retired, you are also very well protected, but please do your research as well.

I was a supervisor when I was fired. Most of the company was in shock, and still asks me what I could have possibly done. I am a very hard worker, and I worked very hard for Orion, and my clients. I was underpaid, but I needed the job, so I was in no position to combat the company. If you read above, I even tried to protect them when they were acting unethically. I only like things to be fair for all involved. When I was fired for "Gross Misconduct" (still not sure how I got that title) I was told that my entire team was poisonous, and are infecting the entire company. All of those people are still there except one. I am not saying they are poisonous, but upper management did, and used that as justification to terminate me. In the state of TX, when you are fired your prior employer has 6 calendar days to deliver your final paycheck to you in the same manner you have been receiving your paychecks. For me, it was direct deposit. I was fired on 1/06, and finally had to go demand my paycheck in person on 1/16. As a result of not being paid on time, I received 3 over draft fees to the tune of $90. OP has never paid these to me, denied me unemployment after assuring me it would be there for me, and they have furthermore told me that if I am on their rental premises, they will call the cops for criminal trespassing.

World Law Debt is Orion Processing. Orion Processing is World Law Debt, Clear Your Debt, Swift Rock, Mesa Rock, and Topaz Financial. The reason they are on their 5th business endeavor is because they keep getting terrible BBB ratings, and law suits, and keep opening new ventures under clean names. Make no mistake, they are the same people, and they haven't changed a thing. They will take your money, and you won't get it back. About 20% of all programs go as planned. The rest either end up with judgments, garnishments, bank levies, home liens, or you will end up filling the bankruptcy you were trying to avoid. And, if you sign up with World Law Debt, you will be contributing to the lease payments of the BMW's and Escalades that upper management gets to drive.

DO YOUR RESEARCH AND SETTLE YOUR DEBTS ON YOUR OWN. YOU WILL SAVE THOUSANDS, AND IT IS MUCH EASIER. JUST GET EVERY AGREEMENT IN WRITING.

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Bright is right

AUTHOR: Mr.Smalls - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2012

I worked for work World law/Orion processing for several years. They use sales companies that lie or use "half truths" to get clients into the program and rush them to sign a contract that makes hardly liable for anything that actually happens. Unless you have a ton of money saved or are uncollectable (fixed income, unemployed and certain states) this program will unlitmately cost you more money and stress then you bargained for. They dont do anything you can't do yourself if you do proper research.

Half the employees are hard working employees and the other half are worthless. Bright1222 stayed focused, had way more clients then the other supervisors on top of other extra responisbilities. The other two supervisors had waaay less clients then anyone else with no extra responisbilites. One of those two had only been an employee for 3 months and was promoted to supervisor when she threatened to quit. She lacks knowledge of how things work and how to handle clients. The other supervisor was sooo terrible at her job that it was common policy to review her settlements because they probably were done wrong. Why were those other two promoted? because manangement wanted people who wouldn't argue back when fed lies/BS. In my opinion Bright1222 was fired because he did try to fight back to improve conditions for his employees and clients which wasn't a feeling shared by management.

The person above claiming this is all false is one of the people management believes is "poisonious". He has almost been fired 3 times while under three different supervisors. The fact he still has a job is unbelievable and its even more stunning he is defendng the managers who mock him infront of other employees. Speaking of other employees about 70% of everyone working there is/has been applying for other jobs. Employees are underpaid (people make about the same working at a Walgreens), the managers lie and one manager in particular has a nasty habit of flirting with every decent looking girl in the office (yes he is married). This same manager is why 3 attractive employees quit after being creeped out. He is the same manager who had to bring his luggage to the office because his wife kicked him out after finding evidence of this. He is the same manager who gave a ride home to a attractive employee late after work "because her car wouldn't start" even though it wasn't even in the parking lot. The other manager worked on making sure the sales offices were lieing enough to get sales. The two junior managers work to clean up the company messes and while I personally never had an issue with them I do think they should work for a company that isn't trash.

This is a company that lies, underproduces and is set up to where the owner/managers make tons of money. They fire (or move to positions they can't argue back from) smart, upstanding employees. They promote lackies to keep resistance low while they push their un-ethical agenda. Do your own research and do it yourself because it isn't hard.

Thanks for using my name

AUTHOR: bright1222 - (United States of America)

I didn't want to point fingers below the management line, but someone used my name, and I know exactly who it was. I was told I the main reason my team was so poisonous was because only half of our client load had been contacted in the last 60 days. I didn't have the permissions to pull reports to show what accounts had notes on them, so in September I implemented a spread sheet to the two people who's sole mission was to contact 600 clients every two months. They were supposed to send these to me every Friday so I could check their progress, but only one of them consistently did. These two spread sheets had about 600 clients each on them, and my employees were to go down the line calling and checking up on these clients, and of course leaving a note in the clients file regardless if the client was reached or not. A note stating something about the call. I got both of these spread sheets back from my two CSR's in late December stating all clients had at least had an attempt sent their way, and most had been contacted. I assumed that notes had been left, but for good measure I asked the reports girl to send me a report of all clients who hadn't been contacted in the past 60 days. I even requested this in a meeting in front of the director 3 days before I was fired. Never got this report. According to upper management, in 1/06 only 50% of the clients had notes on their file in the last 60 days. Just remember that. I was in shock because my two employees had just given me their spread sheets stating all clients had been touched in the last 60 days. Someone was lying.

My two CSR's, one we will call Bob. Bob was new, started under my direction, and a great employee. Took him a few weeks to get up to speed, but he was probably my most reliable employee after that. Bob was always on time, and did everything exactly like he was told, or by the book. The other we will call Brick. Brick had been with the company over three years, and was a nephew of a manager. Brick had been removed from multiple departments for internet use, or disregarding his work, been written up multiple times by multiple managers, threw multiple tantrums over the littlest things, and in December been written up by me for being on the internet. My write up was probably his 5th or 6th, including goals he was told to meet, or he would be fired, but he never met the goals, but for some reason still had a job. Could it be because his uncle is a manager? Who knows. All I know, when I was told that only half of my client load has notes on their file, I wasn't blaming Bob.

Oh, and about the "not everybody who wants to be a manager can actually be one". I never wanted to manage that mess of a program, I was forced in to it because everyone else was not qualified, or too full of drama. I never asked, never wanted, and wish I had never been the manager of that team. It could have been fun though if everyone could have accepted that someone with less tenure and age can manage them. I did my part, and some of my employees did too. Just a few were really bad a leaving notes, so it looked like know one was doing anything. I would think after over 3 years someone would understand that they need to leave notes. And please, point out the incorrect parts of my report.

I guess this was Jason writing. None of this is correct. I think the bigger problem was just that not everybody who wants to be a manager can actually be one. I had to work under Jason and it just was not correct. In time maybe at some other employer...but it just wasn't right in this situation.
