Was ready to sign up and an ex-employee with remorse called me. They just changed their name from Mason Capital Group to American Financial Group. Same people, address, and the owners names are Avi and Rev and Thomer? Supposedly the head guy Avi was so paranoid at irate customers possibly coming in, he at one time installed bullet proof glass in his office, yet likes to brag about all the money they've made. That's all I needed to know...

You people lie! I went through you, you did not fulfill my contract and per your "contract" you were to refund my monies minus a $500.00 "paper processing" fee. Your people have openly admitted that you owe me the money, but on the principal of it you will not give it back. Therefore you have stolen $1,000.00 from me. In my books that constitutes a crime punishable by jail time. If I had $1,500.00 to lose to you, I would have made my house payment and not given it to you to keep. I hope you needed that money as bad as I did! As it stands right now, I have reported you to 20/20, the FBI internet fraud division, your Attorney General in California and my Attorney General in Arizona and I have received confirmation that they are activily looking into your fraudulant activity.

Rebuttal to American Financial Group in Canoga Park

AUTHOR: Ranee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 25, 2008

After reading a complaint from Steve in Sacramento about the remorseful ex-employee, I feel the need to defend American Financial Group. First of all, there must be a reason he is an ex-employee. Many of the ex-employees who are no longer there are let go because of bad business practices and are stealing company information.

Anyone can write these reports and unknown to the outside world, we are helping thousands of home owners keep their homes and get more affordable payments in this tough economy. With any business such as loan modification there is always going to be home owners we cannot help, but those we do help out weigh those that we don't by thousands.

The problem with this ex-employee is that he probably got caught stealing and that is his or her remorse. In fact, many of the employee who have left are begging to come back. We have been in the loan modification business longer than any other company and have resolved many, many cases successfully.
