Christine Routson resigned her position with the Department of Health, Desoto County Florida. She resigned her state job due to an ongoing investigation on her. Christine Routson was a former registered nurse that was assigned to the Desoto County Sheriff Department in Florida. Three correction officers have been fired, a few others including high ranking staff have retired, and a few other staff members have been reprimanded. Christine Routson had started a scandal at her job with the Department of Health.
The scandal has led to criminal charges along with possible federal charges with her former co workers. She herself has resigned her position as registered nurse supervisor. She resigned because she to is being investigated for many allegations stemming from her actions. We can only hope and pray that this individual will never be employed in nursing or around any type of medical facility. A copy of Christine Routson's resignation letter is posted online.

Christine Routson former jail nurse is facing some very serious charges that the Florida Department of Health is pursuing. It is very clear now that this nurse is not the happy go lucky nurse or individual she claimed she was. She did not report animal cruelty charges what looks like at least 3 maybe 4 back in 2008. According to the Sarasota Herald Tribune article it stated the nurse was supposed to report her charges to the board. She never did! This is the same nurse that was involved in a very large case that has caused people to be almost killed, face prison time, and get fired. I can fully assure anyone reading this there is a lot more to come out of this and other events Christine Routson has done.
