I-90 Motors and RV Sold us a hunk of junk toy hauler!!! Billings, Montana

 August of 2011 my husband and I bought an XLR Ultralite Toy Hauler from I-90 Motors and RV in Billings, Montana. Before we had even taken our toy hauler out for the first time we noticed the fridge didn't even work. We live in Bozeman and Billings is almost 2 hrs. away. They fixed the fridge and then on our first trip out w/ the trailer we took it to Glacier National Park and then we had no heat working in the evenings and then had to take cold showers because the hot water didn't work. The shower wasn't sealed because most of the water had escaped the shower and was on the bathroom floor.

The next trip out the pipes under our kitchen sink were faulty and leaked into the cabinets.

Recently we had planned a trip to Flathead Lake and had deposits paid for our campsite and also a boat for the day on Flalthead Lake. Before leaving for our trip we were getting our toy hauler ready and I noticed water standing on the platform where we usually set our flatscreen t.v. There was a box there and when I picked it up the bottom was so wet part of it came off on the table. Then we checked the cabinets over the bed that are the width of the trailer, 3 big cabinets. The first cabinet was already coming down off the ceiling and then we noticed the wall by the bed was bowed out!!! We couldn't believe it! Our trialer has MAJOR water damage!!!

Not long before noticing these recent problems we had to take our toy hauler in for a recall on the gasket that surrounds one of the outside lights. That had been fixed here in Bozeman at Bozeman Ford. THAT was not where the water was coming from, it was coming from the ROOF! There is a defect in the roof and chances are it was installed at the manufacturer's plant in Indiana. Our toy hauler is by Forest River.

We haven't even had our trialer 2 yrs. and we have had nothing but trouble with it. First of all, I-90 Service Dept. didn't even inspect our trailer because if they had they would've caught some of these problems we've had to deal with and when I contacted the owner he abruptly said, "sounds like an insurance problem to me". We bought an extended warranty for almost $2,000.00 and it doesn't expire until August 2018!!! They assured us that our extended warranty would cover "anything" front to back on our toy hauler, what a crock! It ONLY covers mechanical and electrical. Those things will probably go next, this is a hunk of junk trailer.

Then the owner told us they'd get busy and contact Forest River and also be trying to locate us another toy hauler so we would be able to still go on our July 3, 2013 vacation to Flathead. They just blatantly lied to us. I located a toy hauler just like ours in Missoula and my husband called to tell them that. They never returned his call and never had any intention of making an effort to find us a replacement. The water damage is so extensive that our roof is spongy. Then the owner told us to bring the trailer to Billings so we did. We thought he would put it through his service dept and then contact Forest River and they would approve the replacement. He did NOTHING and never contacted Forest River for us.

He's known about our problem almost a month and has done nothing to help us. Our trailer set in his lot closed up for a week. We then had to go BACK to Billings the following weekend and pick it up. Now it's setting in our driveway unusable. We still are making payments and have a trailer that before long will be a health hazard. One of their salesmen, Dan hung up me after saying, "Gotta Go Sweetie, goodbye" after I ask what they were going to do about our trailer~!!!! Customer satisfaction does NOT matter to them and they lied to us and sold us a bogus warranty.

Do Not Do Business With I-90 Motors and RV or You Too Will Be Sold a LEMON and they will NOT do ANYTHING to help you solve the problem. They Do NOT care!!!!!!!
