IPA - International Profit Associates - IBA - International Business Associates Abusive telephone calls from Bruce Morrison He Said Chicago, Illinois

I received a phone call from Bruce Morrison. He had called several times previously asking to talk to the vice-president of my company. I am the VP's executive assistant and all phone calls go through me. When I tried to get information from Mr. Morrison before forwarding him to my boss, he told me to "Shut-up and quit talking over" him. I was shocked. He went on to tell me that my boss asked that he be contacted and he gave me all the information about my boss - something that is publicly known. He stated my boss met with a Bill Donley and wanted to make an appointment with him.

I would have hung up on him when he told me to shut-up, after a few choice, unprofessional words. But I wasn't sure if my boss did ask Mr. Donley to contact him. When I asked my boss about him, he said he had no clue who this man is and never asked anyone to call him.

I called Mr. Morrison back and relayed my bosses message and passed on a helpful hint. If you want to get through to an executive, don't be abusive to his assistant. That's a sure way of getting shut out!
