JUNIORMAXIMILIAN Co. LAWNMOWER ENGINE EXPLODES Gibbstown New Jersey

The untold real story. I found the ad on Craigslist for the Snapper Mower. I was looking for a small rider for my husband to help with the lawn. I spoke to Brian the owner several times. He seemed like an honest person and he was in the lawnmower and small engine repair business. Brian said he personally reconditioned the entire mower. So I felt it was better to buy from someone that knows what he is doing and in the business. I borrowed my neighbor's pickup truck and his ramps. I went to pick up the mower. Brian ran the mower, he checked the oil and we put the mower on the truck. My neighbor checked the mower because he has experience reconditioning lawnmowers, he checked the oil and he said there was not a mulching blade on the lawnmower because it needs a mulching kit on the side and the mower did not have this. My husband ran the lawnmower and was cutting the grass and all of a sudden the engine exploded and pieces of metal were flying everywhere. I called Brian and tried to resolve the issue in a calm manner, (I do not use profanity as he states he is lying, my husband did) because Brian just laughed and thought it was funny that my husband and son could have been severely injured.) He said he was not going to do anything and he did not care. He never offered us our money back not even half as he states. My neighbor even spoke to him and tried to resolve the issue saying he gave us his ramps and the mower did not fall off the truck.

We were going to take Brian to small claims court but we know he must need the money badly to treat us the way he did and lie about everything and saying we dropped it off the truck and something came loose to cause it to explode. This shows he doesn't stand behind his work. We even asked him for his card before all this happened to send him more work and he was reluctant to give us his card. Now we know why. I will take the loss. It is not about the money but for him not to care about hurting my husband and child that was outside when the engine exploded. He is a father so I do not understand how you can laugh about this and not take this seriously. This just shows how immature he is and he should not be fixing and selling equipment that can hurt people. Maybe it was just something that happened but he should have stood by his work, treated us fairly and took this situation seriously.

Brian if you are so honest and have a business that is rated #1 and 5 star rating with major accounts then why did you change your business name to BriMax Small Engine Repair from JuniorMaximilian Co. Small Engine Repair.

Brian the owner is being dishonest because he doesn't want people to know his business was JuniorMaximilian that has a RIPOFF report against him. He is stating I have him confused with someone else and I am being dealt with. Not sure how, but he is the same guy at the same location his house garage and the same workmanship. Thanks for reading I just do not want anyone to get hurt from his work.

He does not honor his warranty as he states, get everything in writing. Just don't deal with this business it is not worth the hassle.

Hello, I am in fact the owner of JuniorMaximilian. At first I was just going to let this report slide, but once I found out the truth of what exactly happened, now I'm just flat out torqued up and have to defend my work. First off, I have over 16 years of experience and in the time I've had my own shop, I have never had a single return on any reconditioned equipment. I back all of my "repairs" by seasonal warranty, repairs.. This lady who wrote this report amongst other writings on craigslist etc(no life) called me and was immediately wanting her money back and when I questioned her about the actual events of that day she was very ignorant and used profanity directed towards me as did her husband when he got on the phone. 

well, I wasn't going to be yelled at, yes, I did laugh...what is one to do when all he gets is profanity to the questions I was asking. I'm not an idiot, I know that riding mower was in great shape, the engine ran fine all summer long and what they say is within 15 minutes it blew up? Now the truth as to why. These people did not have any ramps nor a trailer to load or unload this heavy rider. this was a rear engine rider in which the back end is the heaviest part. So how did this get unloaded you ask? The conversation that I had with someone who actually saw this go down says that nothing was used, that the husband tried getting it down slowly off the back of the truck and while doing so lost the backend wich slammed down on the driveway.

now this doesn't take a genius to figure out that a unit that was 20 years old and rear heavy, maybe just maybe something was knocked loose , knocked out of alignment , something. This fumed me because these shiesters wanted a full refund. So since I'm not a moron this woman decided to write this report in attempt to ruin or destroy my business as these are her words, "if you don't give us our money back I'm gonna write up bad reviews on every site your on!!" Her words....

i used that rider all summer and what makes me mad is that this was such a nice red snapper rear engine rider that was reprinted, new wheels, and it did in fact have a 28" mulching blade on it as she said she was told it was not. Well, end of story and the basis of her rip off report is this, they screwed this rider up, conjured up a story, a lie, wanted me to give them a full refund and got mad when I didn't. I did in fact offer half back but but, this was before I knew the truth, now that I know... I wouldn't even so much as give them a loly pop.

note, alot of my customers who saw this and saw other write ups she created have come to my defense . This is fraud on thier part. I have large company accounts and you don't get those as a small business by being lousy, you get them because you do good work ... As far as I'm concerned this matter is closed.
