they promised modeling opportunities thru thier web site which is viewed by many famous modeling agency's .....
My son and his girlfriend was approached by an agent at Boomer's in Boca Raton, my son's girlfriend was told she had just the look they were looking for. They went to an appointment at the office of Options Talent in West Palm Beach with Kristi's sister and mother. They were given brochures and were told that thru the Options Web site they would be in contact with many famous modeling agency's.
They took a picture of all three of them to be put on the Web site. The pictures they took were some of the worst pictures I have ever seen. Afterwards when I called I was told that we could change the pictures for a small fee of $15.00 each time or add more for that same fee. That's where I feel the ripoff begins. If this had been a professional company it would have professional photographers and makeup artists at site.
We have never been contacted by anyone. I also found out that the only way a Modeling agency can see the pictures is if they become members also and I would assume there is a fee. When my son was first put on the website the only way I could get his picture to show is by imputing his I.D. number which no one has but me. So how could any one else find him they are not going to sift through thousands of pictures to find someone they like.
This whole thing has cost me $1,190.00 since I paid for his girlfriend too.

I have sent quite a few facts out on this vice! I read the input daily. I do however want to say something in regard to this posting. Please know that all of the misinformation can lead to the watering down of the FACTS!
Options states that they do not charge the agencies, producers or whomever, to view the site. They simply 'guarantee' that the site is secure and that not just anyone can view nor contact the models. To clarify, they can be viewed however not searched through specific guidelines. (anyone who has scanned the site can see view a lot of the pictures)
This information is given in the open-call. So, for any and all parents whose children get scouted and the child returns home with information, be sure to get it ALL!
I am in no way stating that I think that all the agencies, producers and such who are 'supposedly' involved are active! Remember to read all of the reports and that if you pay attention you can see the bigger picture.
If you go to the BBB site today, you will see that there is a modeling agency listed with Options. A present e-mail address appears for AAmodels or something to that affect. This is the company which some have experienced getting calls from to become active models for this agency. It was also stated that there is an Options connection and possibly a pseudo agency to contact new talent to keep the stats in line with what they state in open-calls.
Funny, a month ago this agency was nowhere to be found nor mentioned. I think it was after the last cruise when the talent who paid too much money for a less than expected experience complained and all of a sudden they were getting calls from this agency.
AGAIN, I SAY TO BE CAREFUL TO NOT WATER DOWN THE TRUTH WITH INFORMATION THAT YOU ARE NOT CLEAR ABOUT!
Please, this situation is not trivial!
It is a huge mess right now and a lot of people can get hurt!
So, just read it all, share nothing but your true experience and try to keep the extraneous which can sometimes be misleading.
