They lied to us. Entered a "Bogus" amount as down payment in order to impress the Finance Co. We didn't make it home with the piece of junk they misrepresented and refused to repair the thing. The roof leaked, the living room slide leaked, inverter was out, would not charge the battery, the slides wouldn't work unless being hitched to the tow vehical, the brakes did not work properly and went completely out before we made it home. they refused to hook up the water because of the temperature that day we picked it up, yet they guaranteed everything was in perfect working order.

They picked the RV up 5 days after we got it home with intentions of making the repairs until "Billy saw the negative ads about Parkway RV Ctr. on the internet, he blamed us for placing all of the ads, and for this he refused to repair anything on that pile of junk. When confronted he began cursing at me. These people are crooks.Don't be fooled by their deceptive ads. These people are crooks. He needs to be run out of Busines and the Country. Don't take my word for any of this just read how he has ripped off others. Then check him out with the BBB.

I bought a moter home from Parkway Rv Center had it one week! I know I bought it as is! My Slide out on my room quit working where I was camping over 75 miles away from the dealership! I called Mr Adams and thought I d give it a shot to talk to him  and see if I could pay him to fix it! Even though I knew I bought it as is! He sent someone to me free of charge and the tech he sent stayed half the day with me and fixed it! Mr Robert Elder also went out of his way to get this taken care of! I dont see how anyone could have a problem with this company!

Parkway says that about anyone who has been a victim by their company. Very childish if you ask me.

Customer is Lying

To Whom it may concern : Mr.. Johnny R. Smith did purchase a 2002 Keystone Everest 5th wheel from our company on 11-21-2013. Mr. Smith did not pick up the RV until 11-29-2013 as Bill of Sale shows. Mr. Smith would not surrender payment on the RV until we showed him everything worked properly as we give no warranty on used RVs (it is 12 years old) . This is also noted and signed by Mr. Smith on his bill of sale. Mr. Smith did call us when he got home and told us that the brakes quit working on the way home . We told him to look for a loose wire assuming that he might have run over something in the road on his way home . We did not here anything else from him over the next few days so we assumed all was well .

On or around December 7th or December 8th Mr. Smith called us about several things not working Even though we sold it to him as-is with no warranty due to the age of the RV. At Parkway RV we try to treat our customers right because our good reputation is why we have been in business since 1968 . So we told Mr. Smith to bring it back to us and we would see what we could do to help , thinking it was probably something simple as everything worked properly the day he picked it up . Mr Smith refused to bring the RV in for repairs so again us trying to do the right thing told Mr. Smith that we would pick his RV up at no cost to him the next time we where in the Nashville area with a RV delivery .

Around December 12th I had a RV delivery in the Nashville area after the delivery was made I arranged to pick up Mr. Smiths 5th Wheel . I also explained to Mr. Smith that we close our dealership every year from December 23rd thru January 2nd so our employees can enjoy some much deserved time off with there families . I also told them we would try to get his 5th wheel fixed before we closed but we had been abnormally busy for this time of year .

I myself Bill Adams the owner of Parkway RV made the pickup of Mr. Smith's RV . When I pulled up to pick up his RV it was parked in front of a welding shop and had a big 220 volt cord ran out to the RV, it was not plugged up but was sitting on the ground next to it . I asked Mr. Smith if it had been plugged into the RV, as I was concerned it may have been hooked into the camper. I then told Mr. Smith that all RV s are 110 volt and could not be hooked up to 220 volt as it would short out everything in the RV. Mr Smith assured me that was not the case as it was very cold and snowing that day just hooked up the RV to my truck and brought it back to my lot .

When I got Mr. Smith's RV back to the lot I had a RV technician take a look at it and it was determined that it had been hooked up to 220 volts and that it had in fact shorted out all of the systems and that was the cause of all Mr. Smith's problems. To show good faith and again try to do the right thing for our customers and keep our relations with Mr. Smith in good standings we agreed to fix his RV at no cost to Mr. Smith even though it was his mistake that caused the problems in the first place . Due to the fact his RV had a lot of parts to replace due to Mr. Smiths negligence . and the fact we could not get all of the parts needed shipped to us would not come in until after we closed for the Holidays. We explained to Mr. Smith we could not complete repairs on his 5th Wheel until after we opened back up on January 2nd .

During the time that we were closed for the Holidays Mr., Smith ran several negative ads about our dealership on Craigslist in the surrounding cities and even mentioned his Everest 5th wheel on the postings as well . I got word of this and called Mr. Smith , He got very loud and upset with me and cursed me like a dog , As a professional businessman I would never talk to a customer or anyone else like this . It goes against everything I believe in about treating others the way I would want to be treated myself. Mr. Smith then called my sales manager and did the same thing to him while he had his entire family over at his house for the Holidays . After the abuse and slander to my company I informed Mr. Smith that we would not be fixing his RV and that he should come pick it up as soon as possible. I even sent him a registered letter to that effect .

A few days later I got a call from Southeast Financial Credit Union in Chattanooga TN, which is the lender that financed the RV purchase for Mr. Smith . I explained the situation to them and they told me Mr. Smith had called them and had gotten really rude and abusive with them as well .

We feel that we have done everything possible to satisfy Mr. Smith but after the abusive language and negative ads posted by him, We refuse to do anything else for him and will never do business with him again .

Bill Adams President Parkway RV Center
