CD-R Rebate Offer of $45.00 on purchase of 200 CD box. Made timely/valid rebate application to : Prime Peripherals Offer #45, PO Box 226, Randolph, Ma. 02368 on 20Feb01.

After 5 months and numerous calls to 877 783-3546 and numerous e-mails (which are now bounced back as invalid address)and an e-mail from 'John' (okie02343@primeperipherals.com) that my application would be resubmitted and paid within 4 weeks (6 weeks ago), still no payment.

It appears that others at 'ripoff report' have experienced the same treatment from Prime Peripherals for various rebate amounts. It appears that this rebate offer is an elaborate SCAM by the company. It is difficult to believe such companies as Staples and Office Max would continue to sell their products with the baiting of a 'rebate' offer.

Rebuttal:
I know what you mean, its a shame that companies like Prime Peripherals will offer rebates that seam to have trouble compleating there promis. I feel for the companys that have to deal with angry custamers like us when we do not get our rebats. But is it really there fault or is it ours? We
continualy keep buying items from companies that have a track record of not always keeping there rebate promis. If we stoped making a point to buying the rebate items at Stapels, officemax ext... then they will get the hint. (money, as we know is what drives buisness to be better at what they do!) By the way, I also purchased the same 200 pake cd-r's and I got my rebate
in about 5 months. But I bought them not for the rebate, but becasue it was such a good deal even at 45.00.
