Systems & Appliance Home Warranty

Provided at the closing of your home or purchased directly from 2-10 HBW*, this warranty covers normal wear and tear to your home's major systems (furnace, hot water heater, air conditioner, plumbing and electrical systems) and major appliances (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, built-in microwave, disposal, trash compactor). Complementary to your homeowner's insurance, your 2-10 HBW warranty covers the repair or replacement of the most frequent and likely home system and appliance breakdowns.

When a covered system breaks down, simply place a claim online or call our toll-free number, and we will immediately dispatch a contractor to make the repair. You pay the contractor a small service fee and we pay the rest for all covered items. You don't have to hassle with finding a contractor or worry about negotiating the cost of the repair work. In the event that a covered system or appliance cannot be repaired, we will replace it with a system or appliance of comparable or better quality. It's the perfect solution for today's busy homeowner.

When the service contractor provided by 210 arrived he could not fix our air conditioner. He contacted 210 to update the issue and gave them an order and a list for work needed. When called the service provider to see when he could replace the unti he stated 210 had not responded and that we needed to call them. Upon doing so we were told by 210 we had to $508.00 out of pocket for non covered items. We responded in reference to the above information as stated on their web site May 11-13 2014. Stating we should not have to pay for service items which are included in the changing out of air sytems.

After arguing they were in breech of contract as stated. They offered us a buy out upon which they stated they had to research the cost and would get back to us. After 24 hrs we called back and we are still waiting for the information.

Here's the rub, all the out of pocket cost were labor cost for items that can easily be hyper elevated to pad the pocket of the service provider. 

DO Not ever use this company for anything.

The above company statement is misleading and very deceptive. 

When the service contractor provided by 210 arrived he could not fix our air conditioner. He contacted 210 to update the issue and gave them an order and a list for work needed. When we called the service provider to see when he could replace the unit he stated 210 had not responded and that we needed to call them. Upon doing so we were told by 210 we had to pay $508.00 out of pocket for non covered items. 

We responded in reference to the above information as stated on their web site May 11-13 2014. Stating we should not have to pay for service items which are included in the replacement or changing out of air systems.

We contacted other service providers who stated there are labor cost involved boy all the cost and packaged in the price quote of replacing a system and normally not itemized. The items are percentage based.
