Unfortunate example

This really seems like an unfortunate example of someone not understanding how to get their refund.  So I am just going to add a couple points to clarify for those people reading.  You do have ten business days to get a refund, which is basically 14 days because it doesn't include weekends.  It explicitly states in the first part of the contract that to get your money back, if the business is not right for you, you need to write or fax in the request.  The contract is only two pages long and this information is one of the first items.  It is right up front and it is even highlighted in it's own section so its not like it is hidden or anything.

Also the phone number for ACN support is right on the top of the contract and is available on the website you get when you start.  The people are extremely helpful and the wait time on hold is either nonexistent or less than a minute to get help.

The writer explicitly states that her husband signed her up without her permission.  Really he is the one that committed any sort of fraud that she is so angry about.

Also I would just like to point out that no one can have total interest in more than a total of one position withing the company.  This Mrs Lisa brown person they mention could not buy the position back if she wanted to.  It's not a pyramid where everyone pays and then someone gets a big check from the $499 start up fee.  We broker the services for most of the major household names that provide services for TV, phones, cell phones, security, etc.  And we can usually save people some money with those same companies they were going to use anyways.  Personally I feel much better about saving people money on bills they were going to pay anyways compared to selling overpriced candles or kitchenware to my guilt stricken friends.  No one gets paid a cent until we get real customers.  This person's position is absolutely worthless unless she were to actually do the work and go try to save some of her family and friends some money.

I'm sorry but no one would ever invest hundreds of thousands on a franchise fast food joint, and then never get trained, never hire employees, and never even open their doors and try to get a customer.  That would not be very logical.  Even less logical would be to expect to do the same and somehow make any money.

In conclusion.  I have never seen anyone ever have any trouble getting their money back as described.  This person unfortunately just got angry at the people around her, and if she would have just taken the responsibility to contact the company herself, there would be no issue.

Unfortunate.

Hello
Well i was in Acn for 8 days Some chick that worked with my wife talked to her so I was like Im not instersted. Anyway this woman came to my house a 9:30 pm est time and did the whole pitch thing and i wasn't bitting soso then she passed me to her upline lol that was even more of a joke. by now it was midnight. I was researching the company the whole time taking data in. So i told the ladie if this company is so good you pay for me to get in ill give it to you in 3 days. So she agreed and i gavve her the money.

After the first meeting I had alot of questions an didnt get alot of answers then came the second meeting day 4 by now. You have 10days to get a refund. Anyway they had this guy Cody, that could talk you into a coner All i heard was get 5 people and they get 5 people and so on and so on. anyway then I tried to get my moms phone switch over spent 6 hours trying that and that didnt happen. After that I was done Too hard to chase people down and set up meeting etc etc i have 2 kids and a wife not that much time you know.

In the contract they say you MUST contact the company via phone nothing else and cancel, then the person that sign you up is suppose to give you the money not the company ( see the trick there not responsible ) So if you get your attorney against them it will be over in 24 hrs Because there indepentent reps are the one 's that is responisbe. that s how thats how it work for me Reason My bank or credit card info was never give. if you giving that to them then Maybe you'll get it backBut it must be within 10 days after that you lost your money sorry. But thats how it goes. sometimes

Is your husband still in there?
