AFNI Collections Collection company uses Credit Bureau reporting to extort collections not due even after being removed from Credit Bureau Reports Bloomoington Illinois

GE Capital, now Synchrony Bank, did refund my overcharges as described in my original complaint  $1229.17 -after filing with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  However, be aware, if you're offered a great deal with Synchrony on medical procedures that deal is not a credit card, although it appears as such.  It is called a deferred card and you will not be informed because it's usually a medical receptionist selling you the deal. See the interest they charged me in red in this writing.  Yes, that's within 6 months.  I was fortunate and received a refund then cancelled my card.   This is just an update to let other's know that GE Capital has not changed their practices only their name.  Perform due diligence when taking an offer from Synchrony re: interest rates as well as length of interest and verify if you're received credit or a good old fashioned rip-off in the guise of credit.
