unemployed and was surfing the internet for employment hit on american careers. they offered a salary $14.00-$22.00 the following positions were baggage handers, airplane fuelers, ticket agents, etc; just about every position available. it included benefits like health, paid vacation,401k,free flight for family members. you would start within two weeks, no experience necessary on ah first come first serve basis.

their specific instructions were to apply sending your name,e-mail,telephone number, money order and mailing address also to specify which airport you would like to apply. here goes the kicker they wanted a $39.00 money order to process application and that it will be refundable. once this money order payment was sent they would deliver processing material for employment. this was done august 20,2012 and im still waiting! need my money back please thank you.

American Careers Is Here To Help You.

AUTHOR: Yvonne Foxworth - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, October 13, 2012

OK folks, please let me try to shed a little light on this thread.

First off, my name is Yvonne Foxworth. I'm a Career Counselor at American Careers (NYC offices).  For the doubters out there, I must say sorry for any confusion or misconceptions about us, but we certainly are NOT a scam. I've been here for 6 yrs. Indeed, I'm very happy with the results I have personally obtained from the many Applicants I've assisted to gain
employment at various airports/airlines across the USA. Success stories with many different types of Positions, at varying pay rates, anywhere from $14 to $22 / hour.

Regarding our Service, we simply assist Applicants obtain employment through the information that we email/mail them to get them started with the Application Process. We then follow up with phone support via our Career Counselors to assist them in every aspect of the Application Process (Application, Resume, Cover Letters, Thank You Letters, Interviewing Techniques, etc) through our Airline Career Development Guide & our Airline Hiring Update, which includes current listings of Airline Positions & descriptions which the Applicant may then apply for at various Airlines. We will attempt to obtain as many interviews for the Applicant as we possibly can. The $39 one-time fee we charge is refundable in the event we are unable to obtain employment
for the Applicant.  Details are included in the paperwork the Applicant receives.  This is a vast amount of information & assistance which could potentially require many hours to perform individually. This Service will soon be available to Applicants via a new website now under construction:

http://www.americancareersjobs.com/

We have many success stories here with regard to Applicants who have taken the time & effort to read / follow the instructions listed in our Program, and have indeed obtained employment at various Airports across the USA. Obtaining employment takes time and effort. If Applicants are not willing to follow instructions or contact us for help, we can't possibly assist in those efforts. I will gladly personally assist anyone out there in their efforts to obtain employment. Please feel free to view our BBB review in MD:

Call American Careers

AUTHOR: Trinidad - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, October 08, 2012

I just looked up the company's phone number and came up with all kinds of rip off sites.  I just figured I would come here and post too.  I thought that I had been ripped off.  I looked a little further and called information.  I found American Careers in Washington, DC and called that #.  It turned out to be American Careers and I was able to speak with a rep.  named Kevin.  He told me that my information had been sent out via email in Sept. and told me that they email and wait for a call.  I didn't call because the junk filter is high in my email account and I never got the message.  I ended up giving him an alternate email address to use and sat at my computer and saw that they did indeed send me a package to get started with.  I am going through that now.  I hope that this helps you!
