PLEASE READ!!!!!!!! AMERICAN CAREERS is an internet SCAM! Don't go anywhere near that company. They are robbing people right and left and I am one of them. They have an ad for AIRLINE CAREERS/JOBS and they've structured and worded it such that they appear to be connected with various airline companies who are hiring for various positions, which they will list. You click on a map to find your state and sure enough your nearby airports are hiring. The only airport in my town just happened to be hiring for numerous positions. They tout the benefits and pay, $14 to $22 an hour, health insurance, vacation time, and free flight privileges! They've done this in Washington DC but now they are in Baltimore. They tell to call their number to get instructions on applying. It's an automated message that will tell you the first thing you need to do is get a money order for $39 dollars and send it to them. They says this is a processing fee for applying. Then they tell you to wait 10 days to allowing processing time after which they will send you the necessary documents/paperwork for applying. Sometimes they mail the packet and sometimes they don't. I had to call about it, and then they mailed it. There was no application. It was a booklet they've put together on the different types of jobs at an airline with descriptions of them and whatnot. That's it. That's all it was. They assigned you an applicant ID number with it, but basically the booklet is standard for what they send everyone. Then they have written on the email with your applicant ID number, that their applicant login is down at present, so you can sign in with your number, and they will let you know when it's back up. (right). It popped in my head, I should research these people on the net. Again, cart before the horse. When I did, I was able to pull up all kinds of complaints and stories about this scam. When I confronted them about it through an email, and ask for my $39 back, Yvonne Foxworth emails me back and says the only way I can get my money back is by supplying them with 10 JOB APPLICATIONS, and 10 REJECTION LETTERS from 10 DIFFERENT AIRLINES. I told her there was only one airport in my town, and American Careers says they are hiring, and I told her that I told Melody Markakis on the phone that I was not interested in being a flight attendant and just wanted a local administrative type job in the airport, and that I would not be able to give them proof of applying a 10 different airports. She states that she is sorry, but they are just a company who helps people look for jobs, that they are in no way affiliated with the airlines, and they only way I can get a refund is if they cannot help me find a job. Here's the thing people. They pretend that airlines are hiring, they have no idea. They pretend that they are the ones you will be applying to for a job with the airline you are interested in. They have no such role. They lead you to believe you are paying $39 processing fee, when there was nothing to process, just a booklet on how to write a cover letter, write a resume, interview for a job, etc., things that most of know or can easily obtain through minimal research. They don't ask for a credit card because those can be disputed. Nor a check, same thing. Kiss the money goodbye. I told them that was my last 40 dollars and it was and they did not care one iota. I had to go borrow some money from someone that week! Please don't give your hard earned money to THESE SCUMMY CRIMINALS! THEY SHOULD BE LOCKED UP! I hope you can access the link to the Fox News 6 story below. THEY'VE BEEN AT THIS A LONG TIME BUT IT'S STILL WORKING FOR THEM! http://fox6now.com/2015/05/18/too-good-to-be-true-fake-career-service-scams-job-seekers/

YOU ARE THE ONE WASTING TIME LYING

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, October 30, 2015

How can you possibly help anyone with all the time you spend with your long-winded broken record lies? You most certainly deleted my review and comments and blocked me from being able to respond to anything on that page while you persist in talking to me from it. AND THAT IS THAT! And your friend Trudy who makes an appearance to extol the virtue of American Careers is illiterate and crude and messaged me with a few choice obscenities. Not exactly airline material, that one. hahaha working her fake airline job hahahaha. It does not matter that the story was done in May! And you did not work with anyone on updating your website. YOU WERE ORDERED TO PUT CERTAIN INFORMATION IN IT BECAUSE YOU HAD NOT DONE SO. Now that you have put a few things in it, you still continue to take advantage of people through your hotline. Good for Fox News 6 for exposing your shakedown. AGAIN! I told you all upfront I wanted to work at the local airport that YOU listed in YOUR AD was HIRING! You kept quiet and took my money as you do best with anyone's money. I hope you had a good time spending it. By the way, it's FOUL. "FOWL" is a BIRD! Fox News 6 News Story on American Careers Jobs Scam. Everyone check this link out! http://fox6now.com/2015/05/18/too-good-to-be-true-fake-career-service-scams-job-seekers/

No I HAVEN'T BLOCKED ANYONE. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO CONTACT AMERICAN CAREERS, BUT IF YOU BLOCKED AMERICAN CAREERS YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO SEE OUR SITE OR POST ON FACEBOOK

AUTHOR: Yvonne Foxworth - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, October 30, 2015

First, of all American Careers has a page on Facebook. We do allow everyone to enter reviews of the experiences. I am not stopping you from entering your review. I didn't block your review and it is visible to everyone out there. I did indeed respond to your review as I have responded to your complaints on here...to let you know that I am willing to assist you in any way possible. Instead you have wasted precious time complaining and saying that American Careers is a scam. I have told you over and over to please call me so that I can assist you. I think that there are those individuals in this world that would rather scream and cry fowl rather than put the effort and time into what is truly important and for what they set out to do in the first place. If you are truly an applicant of American Careers then you came to us for assistance and help in the first place. Why not take advantage of that? I don't know who you are, but you have the same access to phone lines and website that the whole world had. American Careers is a company whose goal is to assist true applicants in obtaining their dream job. Most of our applicants appreciate the time and effort that I put into making sure that American Careers applicants are well taken care of and satisfied. I love the fake friends accusation, but that would take my time away from what is truly important: Helping our applicants. Foxnews6 never contacted American Careers for its side of the story. How can a news story be complete without the whole ball of wax. While I am sure that you like to base everything on one news article that was done in May. I can't waste my time worrying about a news channel that didn't take the time to contact the company that it was reporting about. If news6 had taken the time to call our hotline number and visit our website they would find the information on our company. It is old news as American Careers worked with the postal service many years ago to come up with a solution and a better handle on our business. We now supply all information at our applicants fingertips all that they have to do is follow directions and visit our website. Again, I am sure that you will continue post your comments and play games, but if you ever truly feel like getting down to business and obtaining employment please let me know and I will be more than willing to assist you in your career search! Thank you so much for your time and I hope that you have a very blessed day and have the best of luck in your career search! God Bless!

YOU WILL BE REPORTED

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 29, 2015

Let everyone who reads this know that Yvonne Foxworth has an American Careers page on Facebook that allows people to enter reviews of their experiences. Yvonne Foxworth has deleted my sincere review and because of the review she has blocked me from being able to comment on the page or message her at all; and yet, she keeps responding to my comments on the page knowing full well that I cannot respond in turn. There is no one working this game but Yvonne Foxworth, no other employees or so-called 'managers' as she puts it. If this was a legitimate company, would it carry on this way? Would not someone come forward who worked for the company and defend or reason? Furthermore, Yvonne Foxworth is not literate enough to be in charge of anything. Yvonne, I have stated to you ad nauseam that I was very clear about what I wanted. YOU were the one who completely ignored that and took the money anyway. You have lied repeatedly. You had listed you are a recruiter and only when I called you on the carpet about that, did you take that off your page. Yvonne Foxworth also has some person sticking up for her who has an obvious fake Facebook profile with only 1 friend, dead giveaway. It is not only my word against yours as to what went on in that phone call I had with you, but it is also the very damning word of Fox News 6 in their story about your scam operation. Everyone take the time to see this news segment. Yvonne Foxworth lied by saying this was 'old news' and all of it was on their website, which is so ridiculous it's not even funny. Not only is this story not on their website (why would it be?) but to say it's old news and dismiss it is the height of lunacy. Doesn't matter if it was 6 months ago, 2 years ago, yesterday, or whenever, it is the same company up to the same old tricks. I hope you can connect to the story here. If note, just simply Google "Fox News 6 American Careers Scam" and it will be the first link you see on the web. Good Luck to All. fox6now.com/2015/05/18/too-good-to-be-true-fake-career-service-scams-job-seekers/

I am sure that you have gotten individuals to contact you.  The bottom line here is that I am willing to assit you.  The ball is in your court.  It is up to you how you choose to handle the situation.  It truly is my job to help you to find a job with the airlines.  Again,  you were told multiple times to visit our website.  Our refund policies are clearly listed for all to see.  I will assist you in every way that I possibly can, but you have to allow me that opportunity.  I am sorry for the fact that you didn't take the time to visit our website and you feel the need to post these rebuttals instead of taking that time to contact me so that I can assist you in obtaining employment. Again, I am here to help you and I wish you the best of luck.  I pray that you will have a truly blessed day with nothing but hope for a bright future in whatever your career goals are.

NO. YOU DON'T HAVE AUTHORITY

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Sunday, October 25, 2015

So what, I did not know American Airlines bought out U.S. Airways. It's been U.S. Airways here in this town as long as I can remember before I moved to New York and then moved back. BUT that does not negate the fact that you have lied and taken liberties repeatedly. I will tell you one more time, I told Melody Markakis that I was only interested in working in Pitt Greenville Airport in an administrative capacity, I was not interested in relocating to another city or a job as a flight attendant either. She said NOTHING. It does not matter what your rinky dink website says. There is something known as a verbal contract too. And your little outfit is highly unethical at every turn. If it were not, then it would not bother you one bit to refund the money of someone who is bound and determined to discredit you at every opportunity and further more it would be the ethical thing to do, ergo you are not reputable. And on the contrary, you do not have ANY authority of the whole world to speak for an airline or airport that you are not affiliated with on what job positions they are hiring for or what precise time one would be reporting to work for any airline or airport, since, as you keep stating, you are not affiliated with them. And since you are not affiliated with any airline or airport, STOP SAYING THAT PITIFUL APPLICATION would be accepted at any of them, you know that is a lie! It has no letterhead and no label, nothing. YOU KNOW YOU WERE A TRICKSTER WHEN YOU LISTED PITT GREENVILLE AIRPORT as having job openings. Then when someone calls you on it, you said it was the airline you were speaking about, WHEN YOU HAVE NO LEAVE TO SPEAK FOR EITHER! SO STOP WITH YOU PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE ANTAGONISTIC NONSENSE! People have been contacting me about you and that's a good thing, and I will continue to do my part to help others see before it's too late. Bottom line, since I have researched it thoroughly now, NEVER EVER SEND ANYONE MONEY TO HELP YOU OBTAIN A JOB! THAT IS A DEAD GIVEAWAY! And I will continue to educate given half a chance. Just sickening.

Still Here To Assist You. Your Choice, Your Call!!

AUTHOR: Yvonne Foxworth - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, October 25, 2015

I have had just about enough from you, American Careers and Yvonne Foxworth. (I am sorry that you feel that way, as I have stated numerous times...I am willing to assist you, you have to be willing to accept the assistance.)  Of course I am angry and you know why! (You are angry with American Careers, I get that, but no I still don't get why.  You were supplied with all information prior to making a decision to send in your information and payment.)  You know you prey on desperate people. (No mam, it is our goal to assist desperate people those that truly want employment and want the help.)  And you even know my individual circumstances which I wrote to you in email, and still you could NOT bring yourself to act like a reputable company and do the ethical thing and give my refund, (We will gladly refund your money, as any ethical company would if you follow the refund procedures that were provided to you prior to moving forward with American Careers) especially since you know I was mislead. (You called our Career hotline and you were mislead?, I am sorry that you feel that way, again in the hotline message you are told to visit our website, again if you call our offices you will still get from every one of our councelors to visit our website.) Yes, you indeed seem to have plenty of time for being fake. (No, time for being fake, just time to let you know that I do care and would like to be of assistance) Anyone reading your rebuttals and reading all the complaints and putting two and two together can figure that one out. (Yes, anyone can read that I am here asking you kindly to give me a call so that I can assist you through the hiring process, As anyone can see I am offering to do what I can to assist you.)  I did, as you say, contact the airline as well as the airport in my hometown. Neither of them are hiring. And YOU MISS "AIRLINE NOW HIRING" perhaps should get it straight which airline goes with which airport. It is NOT AMERICAN AIRLINES that flies to and from PITT GREENVILLE NORTH CAROLINA AIRPORT. It is U.S. AIRWAYS! First, it is my job to know, second here is a reference from ifly.com and information that might be helpful to you Pitt-Greenville Airport PGV, a small airport covering 872 acres, serves North Carolina's Pitt County, and is only two miles from the East Carolina University.

PGV Airport is located outside the city of Greenville, off Route 13 (N. Carolina 903), and easily reachable by Interstate Hwys 40 & 95.  East Carolina University is only 2 miles from the Airport.

With three runways, and an estimated 123K annual passengers, the Airport is mostly used for general aviation and charters.  American Airlines (formerlyUS Airways Express) is servingPGV with daily flights to Charlotte, NC, and convenient connections.  The Airport is also in the process of adding a second commercial airline.

The modern passenger terminal at Pitt-Greenville Airport was recently expansed. It offers fee WiFi access, free meeting facilities (tel. 252-902-2026), an ATM machine, and a restaurant.

I think I should know! GO CHECK THAT OUT!! Regarding the statement made that applicants to get hired need to report to work in 2 weeks, YOU HAVE NO LICENSE TO SPEAK IN SUCH ABSOLUTE TERMS FOR ANY AIRLINE OR AIRPORT HIRE STARTING DATES! GOT IT?? PERIOD! ( I have all of the authority in the world to speak in such terms, again, an airline would not be searching for applicants if they didn't need them for employment) Ms. Melody did NOT tell me any such of the information you just stated in our phone call. (Again, we have made it manditory policy to tell all potiential applicants to visit our website.) She was vague and as quiet as a mouse about anything specifically critical (I can't speak for Meldoy. What I can speak for is if you didn't have your questions answered or didn't feel comfortable or had more questions then why didn't you get the answers before moving forward)and just kept going on and on about how the airline industry is really picking up and hiring so many people nowadays! It does not matter who does and does not accept online applications, I AM TELLING YOU THAT NO AIRLINE OR AIRPORT IS GOING TO ACCEPT THAT HOMEMADE TRIPE YOU SEND TO EVERYONE TO FILL OUT. (Again, we don't work with the airport, and yes some airlines do accpet that application) It's just as misleading as everything else you all say including the attention grabber on your Facebook page, "AMERICAN CAREERS AIRLINE NOW HIRING". (Well, again I can say that all of the ads on the facebook page lead you directly to our website, again our website provides you with all of the information that you will need and more. And thanks for being concerned about whether I need your services or not. I DON'T NEED THE SERVICE OF ANY PERSON WHO MISREPRESENTS THEMSELVES AND USES PSYCHOLOGICAL PLOYS AND OUTRIGHT LIES and you know exactly what I am talking about Ms. Yvonne Foxworth. ( I am sorry that you feel that way, if you ever have a change of heart please don't hesitate to contact me.  I am more than willing to assist you in every way possible.  I wish you the best of luck in your future job searches.  Again, you have my number and my email address if you change your mind. Once again, IT'S U.S. AIRWAYS. LOOK IT UP. You should be ashamed of yourself!  (Another reference point for you:  aa.com/i18n/travelInformation/destinationInformation/pgv-airport.jsp)

I am here to assist you with employment if you are willing to accept my assistance!!!

AUTHOR: Yvonne Foxworth - (USA)

I apologize for any misconception, but American Careers LLC makes all potential applicants aware of our services.  This information is provided via our website.  American Careers LLC is most definitely not a "scam artist".  I've been here for 9 yrs. I'm very happy with the results I have personally obtained from the many Applicants I've assisted to gain employment at various airports/airlines across the USA. Success stories with many different types of Positions, at varying pay rates, anywhere from $14 to $22 / hour.

Regarding our Service (maybe what you refer to as "scam orginization"), we simply assist Applicants obtain employment through the information that we email/mail them to get them started with the Application Process. We also offer phone support via our Career Counselors to assist our applicants with their Application Process (Application, Resume, Cover Letters, Thank You Letters, Interviewing Techniques, etc) through our Airline Career Development Guide & our Airline Hiring Update, which includes information on Airline Positions & descriptions which the Applicant may then apply for at various Airlines.  The $39 one-time fee we charge is refundable in the event we are unable to obtain employment for the Applicant. Details are included in the paperwork the Applicant receives, as well as on our website, which is provided to all applicants prior to moving forward with American Careers LLC.  American Careers provides you with a  vast amount of information & assistance which could potentially require many hours to perform individually. Again, we ask at the end of "EVERY" hotline message, that our potential applicants go to our website, not only to see our refund policies, but to see our success stories as well.  Please take the time to review our website:

We have many success stories here with regard to Applicants who have taken the time & effort to read / follow the instructions listed in our Program, and have indeed obtained employment at various Airports across the USA. Obtaining employment takes time and effort. If Applicants are not willing to follow instructions or contact us for help, we can't possibly assist in those efforts. I will gladly personally assist you, or anyone out there in their efforts to obtain employment.  American Careers is commited to helping our applicants to find a positon of their choosing.  With reguards any  complaints, please understand we do provide potiental applicants with all information regarding our company prior to moving forward with the process via our website.

Please. How many more fake ID rebuttals are out there valiantly fighting for the (dis)honor of your scam organization? Ok, Yvonne Mam, I am not fake and don't have to pretend to be anyone.  I am comfortable with the information and assistance that American Careers provides.  As I state to everyone, I am more than happy to assist you in obtaining employment.  I will not speak for my co-workers, but I will speak for myself in saying that I don't have time for "fake" as you put it., or Melody, or Kevin, or whoever the heck ya are, I am going to repeat some things as clearly as possible as follows:

1) Firstly, the BAIT AD from this company states specific AIRPORTS LOCAL TO YOU (and their airline carriers) are hiring, stating the many positions they are hiring for. I have now much too late confirmed with the small airport in my town that they in fact are NOT HIRING (Most individuals that want a job with the airlines contact the airline/ airlines that operate out of their local airport...rather than the airport.  You might find that the airport isn't hiring when the airlnes are.  So this is LIE NUMBER ONE from American Careers.

2) Upon calling the phone number that you are instructed to call in order to apply, the automated system will tell you that these job positions listed are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. LIE NUMBER (Wrong again, all jobs are provided first come first served, if you don't apply soon enough you don't get an interview, therefore you don't have a chance of being hired) 2. I'll let you figure out why they would state something like that (HURRY UP!). The auto message goes on to say that if you are hired for a position, you will be needed in 2 weeks. (Now, after you interview for a position and obtain a job with the airlines, do you really think that they are going to want to hire an individual that wants to wait 5 months to start a position, rather than the individual that wants to start ASAP, not a lie when an airline is looking to hire they need the employee, therefore that is the reason that they are hiring in the first place) LIE NUMBER

3. How on earth would American Careers know what date you would be needed at any job with any airport or airline if they are not affiliated with these airports or airlines at all?  (Now, after you interview for a position and obtain a job with the airlines, do you really think that they are going to want to hire an individual that wants to wait 5 months to start a position, rather than the individual that wants to start ASAP, not a lie when an airline is looking to hire they need the employee, therefore that is the reason that they are hiring in the first place) Minder readers? OH GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ!!! (No, see about answer) Yes, the auto message gives you their website address, but it is a casual invitation for you to visit and find out more (WRONG AGAIN, our website is given at the very end of the message so that it will nto be forgotten or overlooked,  when calling the hotline potiental applicants get allot of information, therefore the website (most important piece of information is given at the end of the message), not nearly as important is hurrying up to get to the bank to get a money order to send to them. (Nobody is on the other end of the hotline telling you that you must use the service of American Careers) The urgency tactics and blatant lies they use in their written ad and in the automated message, and if you actually do get a person to ever call you are REALLY what's at the crux of this, right? I admit I wish I had visited the website first (where they state they are not affiliated with the airlines nor can they guarantee a job; this was required of them to put in writing by an order against them due to the publicity they received), but they are the ones who put forth COMPLETE FABRICATIONS in their BAIT AD and in their PHONE MESSAGE, and in speaking with MELODY MARKAKIS who by her GRAVE OMISSIONS ( It just so happens that I have worked with Melody in the same office for many years she starts off by asking all potiential applicants if they have had the opportuinty to call the career hotline, if they haven't she provides them with their respectable numbers,  she then asks all applicants if they have had the opportunity to vist our website, she then gives them the website address (again), After that she lets all applicants know that we are a service and that they can apply directly to the airlines.  She tells them that we are a tool for them to use along the way.  All information is provided because we want to be of assistance to our potiential applicants),( lies) engenders a feeling of security in the prospective consumer. DON'T make the mistake I made by throwing caution to the wind.

3) The application. Let me rephrase what I said earlier. Yes, there is a generic application provided (again, we let our potiential applicants know that most airlines accept applications online, there are still those that don't, but for the most part most applications are submitted online) in the paperwork, but it is completely worthless as NO AIRLINE WILL ACCEPT THAT APPLICATION BECAUSE IT IS NOT THEIR APPLICATION, AND AMERICAN CAREERS IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE AIRLINES! LIE NUMBER 4. So why are they sending this worthless application that won't be accepted by any airline  (there are still those that don't accept online applications) or airport (we assist with the airlines, not the airport)? Gee, I dunno. It would make good toilet paper, though.(Your choice, or you don't have to print it out and can for assistance, that is the very reason that we provide you with our phone number and tell you to contact us with any questions that you may have).

4) In speaking with Melody on the phone, I made it clear that I was ONLY interested in the airport local to me (about a mile down the road), which the BAIT AD said was hiring for numerous positions, several of which were in-house (BUT WHAT HOUSE IS THE QUESTION) positions. That would have been the time for Melody, or any one of you IF YOU HAD ONE SCINTILLA OF INTEGRITY, to say, "Oh, I see, well maybe you aren't a fit for this, because after we take your money, you have to be willing to apply to 10 different airlines, and if you don't find a job, you have to be willing to show us 10 rejection letters you got from those airlines, and then we will give you your money back. THERE ARE NOT 10 AIRLINES IN THE AIRPORT OF PITT/GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA!!!! THERE IS ONLY ONE, U.S. AIR(Umm, that airline would be American Airlines)!!!! IT'S A TINY AIRPORT!!!! But I would not find out the 10 airline application/10 airline rejection letter stipulation for a refund until after I received the guide.(Not so, all of our policies are provided to you prior to your ever deciding to move forward with American Careers via our website) Also, I have since called the airport (try calling the airlines, if of course you were looking to work for the airlines)myself and confirmed that they indeed ARE NOT HIRING, but I am welcome to come in and get an application for U.S. Air (Again, you might want to try American Airlines, they operate out of Pitt/ Greenville) to file for future job prospects.

5) Most people who have filed complaints have gotten NOTHING, ZIP, NADA for their $39 dollars. (We work with all of our applicants...no matter if it is 3 years back, because we want them to get the assistance that they need, in some cases people have moved etc.  as long as they are able to provide me with a name and their email address I am able to pull their information, if it is more recent and the applicant has their money order receipt I am able to help them to trace their information and we want to make that happen for all of our applicants!) No phony paperwork, no emails, no phone calls, nothing. The only reason I got this worthless stack of papers is because I emailed them and called them on their fraud and requested a refund. Within 10 minutes of that, the guide appeared. (Mam, all applicants are told, if they call when they can expect to get their information that I will be emailing them.  All applicant have to allow time for the USPS to deliver their information and then time to be processed,  You got your information the day that you were supposed to get it that is my job).  And the rest is history. Not unlike my $39. There is nothing in this guide of any use to anyone that they could not pull up on the internet in 2 seconds(That is a matter of opinion, I would say that you might be able to use some of the assistance that I am willing to provide you, I would be more than willing to assist you.  It is your call,  You have my email adderess and phone number.  I am here today and all next week if you would like to set up a time). You can google a wealth of information on how to write a resume or a cover letter or mastering interviewing techniques for jobs. You don't need to pay American Careers for this.(No, you don't , but again, I am more than willing to assist you if you would like!)

6) These folks are criminal and crazy like a fox.  (Mam, again, I can only offer you my assistance,  I can't help anger, but I can help to assist you with obtaining employment)

STOP WITH THE FAKE ID REBUTTALS!

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 14, 2015

Please. How many more fake ID rebuttals are out there valiantly fighting for the (dis)honor of your scam organization? Ok, Yvonne, or Melody, or Kevin, or whoever the heck ya are, I am going to repeat some things as clearly as possible as follows:

1) Firstly, the BAIT AD from this company states specific AIRPORTS LOCAL TO YOU (and their airline carriers) are hiring, stating the many positions they are hiring for. I have now much too late confirmed with the small airport in my town that they in fact are NOT HIRING. So this is LIE NUMBER ONE from American Careers.

2) Upon calling the phone number that you are instructed to call in order to apply, the automated system will tell you that these job positions listed are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. LIE NUMBER 2. I'll let you figure out why they would state something like that (HURRY UP!). The auto message goes on to say that if you are hired for a position, you will be needed in 2 weeks. LIE NUMBER

3. How on earth would American Careers know what date you would be needed at any job with any airport or airline if they are not affiliated with these airports or airlines at all? Minder readers? OH GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ!!! Yes, the auto message gives you their website address, but it is a casual invitation for you to visit and find out more, not nearly as important is hurrying up to get to the bank to get a money order to send to them. The urgency tactics and blatant lies they use in their written ad and in the automated message, and if you actually do get a person to ever call you are REALLY what's at the crux of this, right? I admit I wish I had visited the website first (where they state they are not affiliated with the airlines nor can they guarantee a job; this was required of them to put in writing by an order against them due to the publicity they received), but they are the ones who put forth COMPLETE FABRICATIONS in their BAIT AD and in their PHONE MESSAGE, and in speaking with MELODY MARKAKIS who by her GRAVE OMISSIONS ( lies) engenders a feeling of security in the prospective consumer. DON'T make the mistake I made by throwing caution to the wind.

3) The application. Let me rephrase what I said earlier. Yes, there is a generic application provided in the paperwork, but it is completely worthless as NO AIRLINE WILL ACCEPT THAT APPLICATION BECAUSE IT IS NOT THEIR APPLICATION, AND AMERICAN CAREERS IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE AIRLINES! LIE NUMBER 4. So why are they sending this worthless application that won't be accepted by any airline or airport? Gee, I dunno. It would make good toilet paper, though.

AIR!!!! IT'S A TINY AIRPORT!!!! But I would not find out the 10 airline application/10 airline rejection letter stipulation for a refund until after I received the guide. Also, I have since called the airport myself and confirmed that they indeed ARE NOT HIRING, but I am welcome to come in and get an application for U.S. Air to file for future job prospects.

5) Most people who have filed complaints have gotten NOTHING, ZIP, NADA for their $39 dollars. No phony paperwork, no emails, no phone calls, nothing. The only reason I got this worthless stack of papers is because I emailed them and called them on their fraud and requested a refund. Within 10 minutes of that, the guide appeared. And the rest is history. Not unlike my $39. There is nothing in this guide of any use to anyone that they could not pull up on the internet in 2 seconds. You can google a wealth of information on how to write a resume or a cover letter or mastering interviewing techniques for jobs. You don't need to pay American Careers for this.

6) These folks are criminal and crazy like a fox.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

No, I think you might want to READ!!!!!!

AUTHOR: Kelley M. - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 14, 2015

Wow, I would agree with you but, I am here to say that I have been assisted by American Careers LLC. Number one, I called the hotline as many individuals do after seeing their ad posted online.  You know, we are calling a hotline (not a real person).  I can say that I did my research prior and read the website.  I went to every page they had to offer.  They are there for a reason for us as consumers to see what they have to offer.  I saw  their success stories, their about us page, their contact us page, in short I read everything.  Apparently, you didn't take the time as a consumer to read their policies.  (BTW:  Where did you see that they were affiliated with the airlines?  I read on their website that they were not).  I all of this did prior to even thinking about moving forward.  Bottom line is you have to do your own due dilliagnce in this world.  I then came here just like allot of other people.  I read the reviews and then I called 718-690-7056.  I spoke with Joe Preston.  He told me that about who they were.  I asked spicifically if they were affiliated with any airlines (just to test) and he told me no, but they could help me with all of the information that I would need in order to obtain a position with the airlines, not only that he told me that if I had any questions he was available to assist me.  I don't think that you would have gotten any different information than I did for the mere fact that I sent my brother who has a different last name and lives in a different state call American Careers, he spoke with Melody who gave him the same information that Joe gave me.  BTW.  If you read the Guide that was sent to you, you would see that it is not just for flight attendants, but for multiple positions.  There is allot of information there and I am sure if you took the time to read over it and call Mr. Preston or Ms. Foxworth they would be more than happy to assist you.  You have made up your mind that they are a scam based on a report from a news channel and from people that don't take the time to call to get assistance.  If you were sent the American Careers Airline Career Development Guide, you did get an application.  I take it that you might not even be a real individual because anyone who really got the information would know what they had.  Again, Yvonne Foxworth states what is already known to you prior to moving forward with the whole process.  If you had gone to their website...I might add that the career hotline for Charlotte, NC has at the end of the whole message to visit their website.  Did you visit their website?  If you did, did you read?  I read your new article link, so what?  The matter is:  Did American Careers meet what the Postal Service wanted?  Obviously, did American Careers disclose all matters to any and all consumers or potential consumers?  Yes.  Does American Careers want to assist you, yes they do and if you call and ask for assistance you will get it.  Sorry, but I find flaws you are stating information such as the refund policies, ETC.  They also tell you on their website that they are not affiliated with Get Flight Attendant Jobs.  Wow, great job at reading.  I truly hope that things get better for you and that you are able to find a career that appeals to you.  I have to say personally that I am satisfied with the assistance that I got from American Careers.
