I purchased some tanzanite from this company. The product was advertized by the show host as "dark neon blue tanzanite, facing up as 8 x 6 mm. The stones that were shown on the program were beautiful and exactly described as what would be received. The three stones I received were neither dark, neon or blue and were smaller than 8 x 6 mm. It is the typical "bait and switch" scam that this company is using. I called to get the RMA number that is required before returning the merchandise the day that I received the stones. I stayed on hold for over 40 minutes. I sent the sub-standand stones back the next day, April 10, 2008, via USPS signature conformation. The company signed for the return on April 14, 2008. I have yet as of this date, April 30, 2008, to hear from them nor receive the credit due to my account.

your return

AUTHOR: User - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 04, 2008

for one. there is no required rma number to return an item to jtv. all you have to do is fill out the return info on your recipt and send it back. jtv tells you it takes around 14 days to refund your money. so your jumping the gun.
first there is no required return number you must have so you wasted your time on the phone. not jtv's fault. your fault because you i guess cant read the info on how to return an item on the back of your invoice.
why is it that people think that they can order items and then return them and want jtv to pay the whole bill. if you order an item then you owe the shipping cost to you. if you want to return it then you pay to return it. you bought the item unseen. so its your fault if it dosent look like the bigmac pic. gem stones are rocks. no two look alike. so either keep what was sent or send it back for another one. there is no further charge to send you another one. even tho it cost them to pay someone to find you a better looking rock. what do you want for nothing?
it cost to pay the minner to dig up the rock. it cost to pay a lap to cut the rock
and then it cost to ship that rock to the usa. and then it cost to try and sell it.
you basicly want all of that labour for free. they let you look at a valubale gem stone for 30 days and if you dont like it for any reason they will give you most of your money back even tho if they ship you a new one they dont charge you for that shipping. your a basicly a spoild child.

Tanzanite

Hello ..

As I said in last rebutal ... no way would I buy anything AGAIN from this company and NEVER was about to buy any stone from them .. I knew they would show PRETTY color .. but did NOT want to take a chance that I would get what they showed .. IF you listen when they are selling 'stones' for say $40/ct .. then they put one up and say 'no, that is more' .. you see right there was NOT anything good .. I NEVER planned to buy anything .. just listen/watch .. liked some of the Hari
?? jewelry .but NO way was I going to spend that kind of money ..and take a google at green gold . NO such thing! .. sooo he mixes with copper or something ..

Anyway .. DO go to the BBB as they REALLY get into it immediately . I think I got my refund within ummm . a few weeks ..

The information was interesting .. but they ARE, imho, selling JUNK . for the most part .. I liked the bracelet I ordered . and IT was a piece of junk .. I wrote it all out on BBB in GA . they got a copy immediately .. and all was solved other than return cost and their s/h cost . but I was glad to get my few hundred dollars back .. actually .. it was over $800 .. NOT size they said .. NOT OLD .. (I am:) .. and NOT a diamond .. Do be careful .. I wish I would stop watching the other channel I watch .. but I go into the vault there . ONE of a kind .. soooo you KNOW you are gonna get what you are ordering AND if you ask for appraisal . free shipping .. should get it .. ask for Marcia .. do NOT . I repeat .. do NOT buy from the TV stuff you see .. stones . or whatever .. they have 2000 of them . do YOU think the one you are going to get is going to be THAT gorgeous? .. even where I watch .. NOPE ..they cannot go through each and every tanzanite or whatever . .to be sure it is 'that blue' . someone picks the prettiest one to show on the air .. and do NOT buy the kits . I have a ton of them:( .. no clue what is in there .. and no way to check or do not want to .. but ..

GO TO BBB in GA ..

Let's shut them down .. perhaps they have been since they are NOT on here anymore? ..

Not really a rebutal . but what you need to do!

Hello ..

I bought an 'antique bracelet with a small diamond & two sapphires in it'.. WRONG . was NOT a diamond (have a tester) .. not sure about the sapphires . all tiny .. as was the bracelet . antique? . NO WAY .. repro maybe .. I got an RMA and PAID to
return it .. I did not protest their $19 s/h charge to me .. BUT .. I went to the BETTER Business Bureau and filed in Georga! .. I was refunded immeidately ..

May I also say that they are NO longer on my 'cable channel' here on weekends . only time they were on .. I was fascinated by SKY? and his information .. but NO way would I have bought a stone from them .. I KNOW that ROD guy from LOS ANGELES where he used to be .. do not know what happened to him or the channel .. I DID get some good things from that channel . .but as for him .. could NOT stand to listen to his terrible grammar ..

Anyway..what you need to do :) .. go to (online) Better Biz Bureau in GA and FILE now .. and .. were I you . would not deal with them anymore .. AT all .. Not sure I should be dealing with jtv myself:) . but I get appraisals . yet, who knows? .. AND you can check any seller on BBB before buying too .. AVC has a terrible rating . unfortunately, I did NOT look ..

I HOPE that helps:)

Also a victim of Their Tanzanite Scam

AUTHOR: Deborah - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 21, 2008

I ordered the same tanzanite, they advertised it for nearly a month, and mine also was not as represented on air-same as you very light-not triple A- and smaller size than what I was ordering as advertised. See my report 5/14/08, they have had my return (at my cost) since 4/21/08 and still no credit. Join me in filing complaints with the Georgia Attorney General, FCC, FTC and FBI-This is fraud, bait and switch, false advertising, stealing and possibly mail fraud.
