BODY OF CHANGE NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR ADVERTISMENT ripoff PHILADELPHIA Pennsylvania

If you are thinking about getting yourself a personal trainer, at LA Fitness with Body of Change (B.O.C.), don't make the mistake I did by signing up. The personal trainers know that you are at their mercy. The one I signed up with was the one I thought I continually work with as he promised to design a program that will specifically meet my goals.

It turned out that he was more interested in the scenery around the gym, texting his girlfriends, and cutting the 1/2 sessions that I paid for to 20 minutes. Since you are bound by contract, you can't cancel unless you go report this business to the proper authorities, like the better business bureau to see anything change. All I wanted was what I paid for. I got hardly that.

The ironic part was that another trainer noticed how he was short changing my time, so he suggested that I report my I reported my horrific experience to the GM (Milton Bowen) at this site, he continually had me work out with the same useless trainer (Robert Nee) that put me on weight machines, that i could have easily figure out how to do. He DID not personalize my sessions, nor did he provide any specialize program as he promised during the contract signing & as the flyer advertised.

The other trainer who suggested I let Milton know suggested a female trainer, (Jade). She was worse. She was always late to my scheduled sessions, cut them to 20 minutes or not show up at all and wanted me to put in my pin number to get paid. When I did not, she coded me as a "no show." I let Milt know and he again did do nothing. So I called the corporate office when they had a working toll free number.

Now, they don't. I am assuming there has been so many complaints, they refuse to take anymore calls, but NOT refuse to continually rip customers off. Milton gave the corporate specialist an attitude then gave me one, so I had to call back and report him again. He called back so nice and cordial. He set me up with another trainer who was short lived b/c he was tired of the LOW BALL they were doing him. So he quit.

Since I am at their mercy b/c I was bound by contract, I took it upon myself to travel 20 minutes out my way to go to another gym. The trainer, Joel (who worked at the site in Springfield) offered me to pay him cash directly instead of paying to Body of Change. He continually talked about himself. I said I'd get back with him, but never did. Then, I drove another 15 minutes to another site located on 701 CATHEDRAL ROAD in Philadelphia. The trainer there was prejudice and was loading up the weights heavier than I can handle.

He NEVER explained the proper mechanics of the the body or did he want to answer any questions. His name is Michael Petaccio. After I spoke, on it he yelled at me. So I went through the same procedure by letting the GM at the Andorra site know. He was apologetic at first, and promised that he have Mike apologize to me and he'd call me back.

Surprisingly, he didn't call, I called the GM back a week later, and he had an attitude. I was fed up at this point with B.O.C. So I called 3 on your side. Then, I reported my experience to the Better Business Bureau of their business practices. As you can read, I held up my end of the contract and tried to search for a reliable trainer who was efficient and can teach me other strengthening & conditioning exercises aside from using the weight machines and treat me with professional courtesy and was accountable.

Since B.O.C. continually implemented poor business practices, the Better Business Bureau had to be informed. Thankfully due to their action based on my detailed report of my horrific experience, my contract with the B.O.C is canceled.
