C & S Gave them money and recieved no magazines Huntsville Alabama

It started out when a young "college" student showed up at our door and gave her sales pitch on getting her last few points to win a trip through a company she had been working for. I let her sit down with myself, my fiance, and our 3yr old daughter and talk to us about magazines. She had a long list of magazines, and told us that she only had to get one more magazine out to get to go on a trip to the Bahamas or wherever it was.

So we talked for a good 30 minutes to an hour. She even got a cigarette off of my fiance. She was very energetic and happy and we thought what's the harm in some magazines. So we went through the list and chose a magazine for each of us. I requested Modern Bride, my fiance requested Racer, and my 3yr old daughter requested Humpty Dumpty. So we were all pleased with our choices and she told us that she would recieve more points if we got the magazines as gifts to each other, so Racer and Humpty Dumpty were gifts from me to them and Modern Bride from my fiance to me. Okay so we helped out to give her more points.

We asked when we would recieve our magazines and she told us that the standard time is 120 days, but she said that they usually don't even take a month at the most. She stated that her mom was about to kill her because of all the magazines she had ordered herself and that she got a magazine in the mail most every day she had so many.

Yeah so here it is 15 days past the 120 and still not a magazine. I started calling them the day after 120 which was on October 15th. And as the others have reported on this site, I got a machine stating I would get a call within 24 hours. Never recieved a call so I tried again and again and again. No calls returned. I attempted to call today, and well the number is no longer a working number. Nice right!! Well if that wasn't enough my 3yr old daughter is still waiting for her magazine that the girl promised her. Who lies to a 3yr old excited about getting her own magazine?! As if that wasn't bad enough, we spent $128 dollars total to get these magazines!!

This really ticks me off and I haven't even told my fiance yet. I just can't believe the morality of some people. To lie to me not cool but I can handle it, but to lie to a 3yr old?! Come on people what are we turning into?!
