Dennis Moninger of Nomad Sound was jired as a freelancer to operate our AV equipment at 2 corporate events.

The first event was in Denver Colorado and then he flew to Savannah GA. After our client in GA called us expressing concern that he did not have the equipment he ordered, we asked Dennis who was on site where the equipment was.

He could not explain where the missing equipment was and was boligerant and not acting normal. We had to fly 2 senior staff members to Savannah and have him escorted off the hotel property by hotel security.

Once he was out of the hotel we found empty alcohol containers at the tech table in the meeting room and also never found our missing microphones.

Dennis cost our company a $50,000 client.

complete and absurd slander

AUTHOR: deezer - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, January 21, 2015

To Whom it may concern,

I have had a working relationship with Dennis  Moninger for well over 15yrs in the entertainment buisness. The allegations  that he is a thief and would consume alcohol on the job is absurd. In all of the events from high stress corporate gigs to ballroom shows to huge outdoor festivals ,and never and I repeat never have I ever seen Dennis consume any alcohol what so ever ,mainly because he don't  drink AT ALL.

Furthermore ,I find it  almost hysterically funny that someone that has a history of non payment to people they hire to do shows for them has the freedom to get on here and slander someone who has such a great reputation. Someone well known providing people and clients  with more than out standing costumer service and personable knowledge in this field. Dennis knowledge in the field of A/V is pretty much second to none ,which is why the claims posted in this report are so wildly out of touch with reality. not only is he adept at solving problems, he has the skills and know how to resolve most problems that can occur with technical issues in a timely manner ,he has the ability to problem solve and rectify issues faster and more seamlessly than anyone I've ever worked for or with in even the most intense and high stress environments.Making the comments about him not being able to handle clients and costing someone a $50,000 client even more absurd and laughable.

To address the issue of missing equipment ,As I stated in the opening of this letter Dennis is a man with Integrity ,honesty and an immense amount of pride in what his work in the A/V industry. I personally have seen this on display when he has returned items left being on site any thing from a cable to an expensive mixing console. Where most people would either have just taken said items  or just left them for someone else to do so,Dennis has gone far and away beyond his responsibility to return  or make sure any and everything was returned to its proper owner or client. Calling him a thief is just as preposterous as claiming that he was drinking on the job.

In closing I would also like to mention that Nomad sound being even mentioned in the same breath as these wild and unsubstantiated accusations is absurd as well. If you would like to check out Nomads reputation go right ahead that is one of the most solid companies I've ever seen or worked with in this buisness and the accusations presented against Dennis and Nomad by naming them in the headline of the complaint are completely false and slanderous in my opinion. I would hope that Rip off report fact checks the accusations before they allow posts like the one I'm writing this about but apparently not if this even exists. I also find it strange that this is actually the only negative thing that can be found anywhere concerning Dennis ,Lastly the company that supposedly called to have him removed from the event has since given him a recommendation.

I would hope that the misinformation contained in the report be regarded as a trite attempt to soil a good mans name and steal the money he had worked so hard for them on.Ive noticed the to original complainant has several reports on this site as well as the better buisness site reporting exactly what happened to Dennis. Coincidence I think not. Its hard enough to find honest people in this buisness and apparently its even harder to get paid when you are that honest and hard working. I'm sure I wont be the last that comes to the defense of Dennis Moninger, once I make it know that this report exists and is being allowed to slander someone with such a high degree of integrity.
