Direct TV Rip Off of the new Genie, locks up, Internet
We recently had the new Genie from Direct Tv upgraded in our home with the main unit plus 2 client units. Problem is the system locks up several times a day. Contacted Direct TV with my complaint and was told this problem was recognized by the company, it was an on going issue with no due date for the solution. The system froze a program into my childs TV set and now you see the image in her set due to this system locking up and freezing her cartoon on her set. Direct TV only apologized with no solution and no replacement of my child TV. It appears that I am not the only customer with this problem and Direct TV should have disclosed this issue before installing the unit.
