This company, aka "DriveIt" is the worse company to deal with. They put no sticker prices on there cars. They run your credit FIRST and give you a max allowance,.  They lie, cheat, steal, intimidate and contact you and your family.references if you're a day late. In our case we notifies them we would be late two (2) and they called my job, and all my family members. Whejn they call, they are very rudel chewing gum, chompimg on food, etc. We had a incident where our insurance carrier dropped us and MCA/DriveIt Finance placed and forced Lisbility insurance on our vehcile and tacked it on our loan, with an extra $20 a month onto our monthly car payment. Well, on June 14, 2013 our vehicle was hit while parked on the street in front of our house and totaled. We contacted the insurance company given to us by MCA/DriveIt Finance to report the accident and the insurance carrier informed us they no longer do business with MCS/DriveIt Finance. We recieved no letter, phone call or any coorespondence from MCA/DriveIt with updated insurance information, however, they continued taking our money every month. After several e-mails, letters and faxes to MCA/DriveIt Finance, our communication was ignored. Today, August 7, 2013 I received a text from MCA/DriveIt Finance asking for proof of indurance!! Go figure!! So, I took my settlement money from the responsible party's insurance carrier and purchased another vehicle and did NOT pay off a dime of my loan with MCA/DriveIt due to there negligence. I am, however, prepared for some legal action, although I got legal advice before I deceided not to pay MCA/DriveIt. They have been nothing but a nightmare from day one. I didn't get my registration tags until three (3) months later after I purchased the car. I purchased the car in May 2012 and MCA'DriveIt Finance did not process the DMV paperwork until two (3) months later. So basically I drove around with expired tags, missing the dpare tire in the vehicle and now driving around with no insurance, unknown to me. This company is very unethical and 'desperate'.  They charge really high interest rates and are really nice when you come in = soon as you buy a car from them they act like the Mafia.  The sales staff dress like regualr street bums and there offices are somewhat of a dump. The cars they sell are junk all purchased from real Car Dealer turn downs - and from salvage yards.  They spit shine them and put them on the lot very overpriced and with stupid interest rates.  They are heartless people preying on those with less fortunate credit.    - - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Rebuttal to Jim @ MCA/Driveit Finance

AUTHOR: Doug - ()

POSTED: Saturday, August 10, 2013

Business must be slow uh Jim? I don't know any empoyee who has time to surf the internet during business hours, especially RippoffReport.com. This proves my theory on the unprofessionalism your orgainzation is. As you continue to put your foot in your mouth, the more opt you are to looking for another job. Just by reading the blogs on various websites, including this one, your reputation is already tarnished -whether your changing the name of your company or not.

I am seriously thinking of posting/uploading our payment records on this site, and our monthly added payment to cover insurance just to prove how guilty your organization is. Your organization pocketed the extra money that was applied to our so-called auto insurance that we later found out didn't exist. You uped the loan amount from $6,126 to $9, 638.32. Where did the extra $3,000 come from? Why were we not notified the insurance you placed on our car was no longer valid, and the insurance carrier refused to do business with MCA/Driveit Finance due to MCA/Driveit Finance not paying THERE bills??? So, basically we paid MCA/Driveit Finance extra every month for something that did not exist. Lastly, you are mistaken when it comes to wanting the money for rour totaled vehicle. Our issue is the dollar amount for which the responsible party is paying you. Again, the balance of our loan is $6,126 and suddenly it is $9k+. FRAUD, GREED and taking advantage of the situation, just as if I were to walk on your lot for the first time. This is why you are being sued my friend. POOR, MISUSED FUNDS, INTEGRITY AND FALSIFYING RECORDS.  I have a feeling there are other victums out there that you are screwing as well -they just don't know it YET. Don't get to comfortable with your NEW NAME CHANGE. Your company doesn't belong in business.

BTW Jim, should I note on this website the quaility of the vechile for we were sold? Like later finding out the car was missing the spare tire, had been in a prior accident, etc.?????

MCA/Driveit Finannce Rebuttal to Jim

AUTHOR: Doug - ()

People need to get attorney's to keep people like you from preventing fraud, misleading facts, and doing unethical business practices to the Public. If the Public isn't warned about your business practices, they too will get screwed. That's the bottom line here Jim. Let's face it, you prey on people; you show no prices on your cars, the employees are uneducated when you have questions, etc. The mark-up on your vehicles are more than the car is worth. Sure, I am a victim but I sure don't want to see anyone else go through what we went through. There are several used car dealerships along Whitter Blvd by your La Habra and Costa Mesa location that do great business, good customer service, acknowledable people, and are not croaked. Is they why the name change from MCA to DriveIt Finance? Bad reputation so you have to start over? DAH!! We will make sure once we are done with the legal battle, you can change eyour name again, and perhaps hand you out your Unemployment Insurance Forms.

Good riddens!!! :)

Your business was 'shady' since the first day we purchased the vechile. Secondly, according to the so-called insurance you placed on our vehicle YOU (MCA/Driveit) never paid the liability insurance and your carrier cancelled YOU. Just as the registration tags you paid for on our vehicle 3 months AFTER it was purchased. Who can't pay there bills? Seems like you have a bad record with the State Insurance Department as well. You have no one to blame but yourselves. By the way, our payments were always on time, and paid before the due date. Your reputation speaks for itself - SHADEY. As for getting an attorney, you bet it's not over. A attorney was necessary because you people are incompitant and can't seem to communicate and .or read and understand above the 5th grade level. It shows when you work for a used car lot, -not much education there.

A Bunch of B. S.!

They contacted references because YOU failed to make payments on time.  If you don't want the lender to contact references, then YOU do what YOU promissed to do, make YOUR payments on time.  They placed forced insurance apparently because YOU didn't make YOUR insurance payments on time either.  If you don't want forced insurance, then YOU make YOUR insurance payments on time.  The forced placed insurance is a matter between the lender and the insurance company.  It doesn't cover you, it covers the car to protect the lender's security interest.  Now you claim, even though you don't pay your bills on time, you paid an attorney.  If you did and the attorney told you to keep the insurance money, then you better get a new attorney.  However, in all probability you have had no contact with an attorney because no reputable attorney would have told you that.  Now suddenly, the dealership is no good, they are crooks and the cars are all junk.  If this is the case, then why did you do business with them in the first place?  Again, in all probability, this is nothing more than the wailing of another subprime deadbeat who is stomping his feet because the lender began collections efforts because this deadbeat continued in their subprime ways.  No, I don't work for them.
