Santander Consumer USA, Inc. has failed to send me monthly bills-TWICE!  When I finally get the statement for the following month, I obviously have a late fee, plus the pending charges.  When I have called to pay the bill that was never received, I'm told by their Customer Service Reps. that I must pay a $10.95 fee if paying by phone.  This is irregardless of whether or not the bill was even sent out!

The customer service reps. that I've dealt with, refuse to accomodate my situation by eliminating the "convenience" fee, even after I tell him/her what happened!  The reps. have told me that the company isn't responsible for sending out the bills and therefore, try to push off the responsibility.  This is outrageous!  Monthly coupons aren't sent out either, so I have no other choice, but to make a payment online or by phone where additonal charges are required!

I thought a car payment was a monthly payment? Do you receive a statement for your rent? Most likely not, but you pay that every month WITHOUT a statement. If you pay a mortgage and don't get the bill for the month...do you just not pay that month stating no bill was received? Just about all finance companies charge a fee to pay by phone..mine does and I'm with a different company. By the way..I don't get bills from my finance company but I pay EVERY SINGLE MONTH...ON TIME. Stop blaming others for your irresponsibility. You can always get the payment mailing address, along with your account # and send in a check or moneyorder. You get a 10 day grace period before you get a late fee. If you need the payment address you can get it on the company website..www.santanderconsumer. usa
