Like too many in this litany of woe, I was foolish enough to try for a 40G I-Pod by completing 6 offers (2 on each of 3 levels) from eMarketResearchGroup.
After 3 months and repeated e-mails to them, to no avail, they still show that I have only completed 4 of the 6 offers, though I have e-mailed them many times (via their online contact form) information documenting I completed all 6 offers, 2 at each level.
I've seen people writing here saying they had a good fax for the company, and even have spoken with representatives.
Have seen others say the company are total scammers and frauds.
Which is it?
Let my report stand as a definitive test as to whether anyone really gets those I-Pods or $250 gift certificates, or whether those reports are bogus, from the staff at scam city, to lure more idiots like me to their demise.
I will update on progress, or lack thereof, with this firm.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Dealing with the company
AUTHOR: Edwin - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, January 30, 2005
Hi John,
I was lucky enough (or foolish enough) to start an IPOD offer without looking the company off. Unlike the majority of people here, my offers went through without a single hitch.
I was lucky enough to only have to pay cash for a single offer (some website server), about $30.
The first problem came with the voucher. I mailed one in, no response. Thats when I looked this company up, cause I had used thier website 'help email' thing to no response numerous times.
I mailed a 2nd voucher, waited another week, no response. I looked up the phone number and called, got called back instantly.
Here's what I found curious: For how "overwhelmed" this company is, nearly every single person got called back by "Eddie." One persons report said they called the business line but tried to find his extension, only to have someone say no one named Eddie works there.
I called back 2 or 3 times, they told me they waived the voucher, good. I'm now waiting the "4 or 5 weeks" to see if i get it.
I did use a fax number, but no reply. I emailed the Jiliane but no reply.
After they said my vouchers coming back (and btw, they only dealt with me in voicemails), I tried calling numerous times to ask for a tracking number.
I told them that on this site, on the Better Business Bureau, and with the NC attorney's office, they have horrrible ratings and considered a scam and that I want my tracking number upfront.
They refuse to give it, simply telling me to wait 4 weeks.
Now, I looked through a ton of reports here, and threads on other sites, like scam.com
Nearly everyone who did receive a gift said it was a huge hassle.
You have to call a lot (dont bother email, fax), and possibly file with the attorney offices a complaint. John of San Francisco left amazing info and links in a ton of reports here under "Emarket research group", about how to do it.
He did receive his 40gig ipod, but he says solely due to filing it.
Good luck!
