Experian now charges $1 for a credit report which should be free.  When you request a credit report from Experian, you are automatically enrolled in a credit monitoring scam and Experian charges $19.95 to your credit card within seven days.

This information is ont their website, but it is in small print and it is located beneath the link to request the report.  There is no confirmation required, so I was not alerted to this enrollment prior to finalizing my request for a report.

When I complained to the company, they restate the "terms of agreement" fine print.  This is apurposefully deceptive practice.

Credit reports are available from Equifax.  Stay away from the Experian website.
