We took a vehicle to the auto service department for an oil change. My husband was specific that the oil change was all that was needed. The snot-nosed kid that worked there said the tires on the vehicle were over-inflated. My husband tried to explain to him that they aren't. They are a specific type of tire and my husband hauls heavy loads, but the kid wouldn't hear it and argued with him. Then went behind his back and deflated them. When my husband found out, he complained so the manager made the kid air them up again. However the kid over-inflated one tire and left the other three under-inflated. He purposely sabotaged the truck because he didn't like being argued against because "he's been working there 6 months".

Begin TODAY (not tomorrow) to look for and develope a relationship with an INDEPENDENT SHOP rather than paying thru the nose for substandard "service" from a dealership. An independent shop is usually owned by somebody who also is a mechanic. They offer much better rates and much better customer service. If the dealership tells you, "you must have that work done here otherwise your factory warranty will be void (if you have one), they are telling you a bold faced lie. Under federal law, you can have that service done anywhere without voiding a factory warranty.
