Globe Movers gave me an estimate for moving household goods from Pleasanton, California to Chennai, India (overseas) of $990. I paid $300 using a credit card and $690 by check. The household goods (24 boxes) were picked up on Oct 21, 2003. After that they were never delivered to destination. There were no responses to phone calls or emails. Till date, I do not know where my stuff is. I found out from internet that Globe Movers have scammed a lot of people. My guess is that my goods are sitting in some warehouse in California. I have no hope of getting my money back. I just want to know the location of my goods so that I can negotiate with the warehouse and get my goods back. Please help me!!
