Merchant's Credit Guide Co are debt collectors and PRIMARILY...JUNK DEBT BUYERS. They buy old time barred debts for about 1/10th of a penny on the dollar that they know they canot document or legally collect...But they try anyway!

You mast have the same or similar name to the person that actually owed the money. They just send the same letter to everyone with that name in a fishing expedition and they do the same on the phone..They just hope to get lucky.

NEVER speak to ANY collector on the phone. It will NEVER do anything positive for you, and will in most cases make your situation worse.

Upon first contact, ALWAYS send the CEASE COMMUNICATIONs request as per you rights under the FDCPA.

Send all communications by certified mail, return reciept requested. Put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records.

If that fails, pound every fax machine they have with 150-200 pages of your letter about an hour after they close. This works every time!
