national income life AKA "nilico" waste of money , the classic bait and switch new rochelle and flushing offices New York

Its been almost two months since i fell for national incomes BIG CON, I wont beable to recover the costs that i laid out or the countless hours i spent " jumping through their hoops ", but maybe i can stop one more person spending their hard earned money in vain.

 Before you really know what the job intails you are required to pay for a training class $ 275.00 , but if you pay in cash its only $250. wonder where that cash actually goes, since the guy they have teaching it seems to  be running his own empire within nilico and taking the class elsewhere and for less money, isnt an option! oh and by the way you dont actually have to take the class to take the test which is $49 dollars . oh and you need to have/ or buy a computer to do the job.

Once you pass the test you have to pay for the license $80. Next step " bootcamp " now if you dont mind being told your lazy and being talked to in demeaning manor - then you will be fine. Next!! Now comes shadowing other agents you have to see 15 presentations and 5 sales. wouldnt be that bad if  your lucky enough to actually get into a house , but that is not that easy. Most of the houses i got to go into were roach infested hovels. most didnt have bank accounts let alone money for food so these are the leads that you get. why are below poverty level people being primed for life insurance!  One of nilico big selling point is that there is no cold calling. That these people are requesting benefits, well they are requesting A free no cost benefit , they arent requesting life insurance. And once you have your lead packet thats it, you have to rely on references from the leads to make sales. Oh and my favorite part is that your an independant contractor, but you are required to work two days in their office for mandatory meetings and making phone calls and then wednesday you have to go for advanced training as well as friday mornings - sounds more like an employee, but you dont get any benfits or paid for the time your in their office. wow i could go on and on.  How about this nilico, why not let applicants shadow agents first, tell them all the requirements up front, before you get them to spend a whole lotta money for nothing. nilico has training and bootcamp classes almost every week, because they go through agents like toilet paper so beware, they dont care they have another bunch of recruits to fill your space. its truly a disgusting place to work. my last day a mass text was sent out threatening peoples jobs because they didnt sell enough that weekend. As if anyone wouldnt try their hardest when they only make money when they sell a policy. some people there hadnt sold for weeks!!
