I began communicating about a year ago with power tax relief after seeing there commerical on tv . I had lost all my business and income because of the economy . I owed NY State over $ 40,000 in sales taxes . after having my home , cars , bank account , equipment frozen or liens placed on the property and no income I called power tax relief for help in dealing with NY State . I was told it would cost $ 5,000 for them to intervene on my behalf . I told them I could not come up with the money all at once , I had bad credit and could not obtain a loan .

After an hour on the phone with Mark and still no answer to how they could possibly help me with my situation he came up with a plan to take my case by placing me on a monthly schedule of payments with a down payment of $ 980.00 and $ 424.60 a month for the next twelve months . I paid them $2600.00 and change and did not hear from them for 4 months until I called to find out what they were doing on my case .

I was told that someone would return my call. two days later I recieved a call fromm Davia who was my case worker .She told me everything was on tract and going well . She told me she would send paper work for me to fill out and to be truthful about all that I stated because the IRS would be looking at this and would know if I was lying . She said it was inportant for to continue making my monthly payments to them and the State of NY or this could possibly hold up my case form being settled that much quicker .

Afew months goes by and I don't hear from them and I call again and given the same story, it takes time . I stopped making monthly payments to power tax . For the next four months I get many phone calls and letters threating to take their power of attorney away if I did not resume payment to them .I even had a long conversation with Nancy the office manger for over a half hour on how reputable they and not to pay any attention to what the BBB said about their rating of F with the BBB .

Today I got another letter of request for their money or they would stop representing me . I flatly stated no more money until I see some results from them . Nancy told me that I needed to trust her and everything would be fine . She guaranteed me that .

I have called and spoke recently spoke with Davia and was told she had put together a proposal and would be mailing this out to me . I still have not seen that proposal as of yet . I also called the state of ny and the case officer and she told me they have never heard of power tax relief who would be representing nor have they ever received any paper work either . In NY State this would be considered fraud and you would be arrested and not allowed to operate as a business any more . I hope that this report will help in bringing this company down or atleast get my money back .
