Richard Green Company The Peanut King abd Richard Green as President Lied, Sent Retouched Photographs of Equipment, Defective Equipment Sold, Dishonest Dealings Indianapolis Indiana

We are in the business of selling used restaurant equipment in Florida.  We saw an advertisement on Craig's List for two Keating Grilles, we were told they were in good condition and Richard Green sent us photographs.  Upon viewing them we sent him a check for 1,500.00 for both units, which we had buyers for.  When we received the units, (they paid the freight charges), we opened the boxes and found that there was only one Keating Grille, the other was a different brand, a cheaper brand, that was lie number one.

When we inspected the units, the tops were deeply scratched and one had deep gouge marks on the top grille, which made them impossible to re-sell as basically they were only good for parts or scrap.  Both units are still sitting in our warehouse and are not usable, the photographs they sent us did not represent the actual condition of the units, this was lie #2.

When we called and spoke to the company about our concerns, they put us through to Richard Green who told us he would refund $500.00 to us, of course this never happened, Lie #3.  Subsequent calls were not answered by Mr. Green and his secretary said they would offer us a $500.00 credit on our next order.

In a complaint to the BBB in Indianapolis, he denied all of these allegations, Lie #4.

This man is an accomplished con-artist and liar, he sells garbage, claiming it to be in good condition and when you want a refund, he denies everthing, I would NEVER do business with him ever again and I recommend no one buys his defective used equipment without first seeing it in person, why is it con artists always use Craigs List ?.

I just recently saw on his web site, thepeanutking.com tht he is selling a used condom machine, that is very appropriate as you will need condoms to do business with him, he claims he has been in business since 1957, all that means is he has been shafting and lying for 56 years, don't even think of doing business with this company, you will definitely be throwing your money away.  He should sell used toilet bowls, because if you buy from him  you are flushing your money down a toilet bowl.  What a completely dishonest liar he is, please stay away from him, I wish I had.
