SOUNDBUILT HOMES CHEAPEST AND CRAPPIEST HOME YOU CAN BUY PUYALLUP Washington

If you are thinking about purchasing a Soundbuilt Home, THINK AGAIN! I have purchased a Soundbuilt Home and it is a piece of junk! The workmanship in and out is terrible.

The problems with these homes are common (I am certainly not the only one that feels this way) and as follows:

-My house has missed areas of PAINT on the walls through out.

-SUB FLOORING not nailed down in many places causing the floor boards to flop up and hit the trim when you walk on them. Floors and stairs squeak through out the home.

-DRY WALL is cracking in every corner, arch way and around windows. It is also bubbling on rounded corners. There are nails coming through the dry wall on the ceilings and walls. I have counted 18 so far and the house is 4 months old.

-TEXTURE on the walls is inconsistent and has a ton of mess ups and patches where texture was corrected poorly. I can't have certain lights on because it highlights all the flaws.

-PLUMBING clanks in the bathroom walls after showers or baths.

-VENT covers in every single room do not fit into the holes

-TRIM in the homes do not match up well and have been filled with massive amounts of wood putty to cover up the workers inexperience.

When shopping for a new construction home I would advise you to stay away from Soundbuilt Homes. They hire who ever regardless of their experience and then they spread them thin through out their several developments. I am ready to sell my home as soon as my 2 year anniversary hits in 2008. If it wasn't for capital gains it would be on the market now. I should have known that when Soundbuilt told us we couldn't go in the home when ever we wanted with out our realtor or their sales realtor while it was being built they where hiding their crappy workmanship.
