This company sent people to my town through a door to door selling magazines. I believed that they were real when they showed me a certified letter by National Fields Sellings Association. I gave the young man five dollars and a check for thirty nine dollars to pay for my sons subscription. This was done on 6/15/07.
It is now 9/2/07 and I have niether received the subscription nor the check back. I have tried calling and writing and niether have gotten me anywhere. I understand that it is only a total of $42 but the point still remains that they took my money and left me with out the subscription.
My daughter found this website and has decided to take matters into her own hands. Being as how she is a very persuasive young woman and is determined to help her father out. She has called both companies and let them know that if she doesn't recieve a call as of Monday morning then she will be contacting a lawyer to take matters to court.
I fully believe that she will get this matter taken care of whether it be in court or out. Its not that I want to completely rip this company off like they did me but I would like some compensation.

Hello,
My name is Jay. I used to work for that same company that you are speaking of. I was employed with them for almost 4 years. If the agent who came to your door gave you the top two copies of the receipt, turn them over and read the disclosure, it says that the magazines take 90 to 120 days to receive the first copy. If the magazine you bought is a bimonthly subscription or only comes 4 times a year then it can take up to six months to receive them. Well, anyways if the ladies in the office at the number try to give you a hard time, the owners name is Vinnie Pitts, The office ladies are crooked and they dont give the owner the correct information pertaining to issues going on. Also you are supposed to be allowed to cancel your order up until the day you receive the first issue, also the cancellation policy on the back of the receipts is void if the agent did not fill out the back of the receipt before he gave them to you. The agent was supposed to write the date of the sale and the cancellation date on there. I hope this information helps you in your quest to get your refund or magazine.
