This post is absolutely truth!

I worked as a PSO for this company (T.A.N.). They never tell you exactly how much you're going to make an hour. But the truth is, they go by your average. One day you can make a lot of money and the next day it can be bad. But when it came right down to it, all I averaged was less than minimum wage ($7/hr). And that is less than minimum wage!

They told me I was an independent contractor, but then told me the days and hours I was expected to work. They never paid into Social Security or Unemployment for me! And people who had felony convictions were handling payroll and having access to personal information.

I think that they should have background checks for these "supervisors" and office help. They are digging into our backgrounds and they aren't even bonded! A woman by the name of Page is the worst offender!

The "supervisors" listen in on your conversations and then yell at you, belittle you and call you all kinds of names. They also insist on at least an 8 minute call. If you don't keep the customer on that long, they "kick you off" the lines.

I know that being a PSO isn't the most glamarous job in the world, but it is what it is and there's a call for it! How about some respect from "the employer"??
