Walmart Claims to price match, but makes every attempt difficult. Glendale, Arizona

I've had several incidents with Wal-Mart over the past few months that have really deterred me from shopping there as much as I had over the past 20 years. No, I'm not a victim, I prefer to save that word to be used in the proper context. 

I will say this, however. I tried price matching Pampers at Wal-Mart in Smithfield, NC and was told Corporate advised them not to reduce the price of their Pampers as they were already "at a good price". Says who? Of course I contacted corporate. Yes, I finally got my Pampers diapers... from the competitor.

Just last night I attempted to price match Arm & Hammer detergent at Wal-Mart Goldsboro, NC, for the buy 1 get 2 free deal. I was told I could buy one but get the 2 that should have been free at $.49. 

Now I understand how listening to someone else's story can sound like a sob story, but I also know that when you experience it for yourself, you have a different outlook. Don't believe me? Try price matching at Wal-Mart. Choose 2 items to price match, on different days, same location. 

Be sure that the first item you price match is within $1 difference from Wal-Mart. On the second trip, go for the gold! Find a bogo (buy one get one or more free) item, with the price of the item listed in the ad (per policy), and see A. How long it takes you to check out, B. How many managers and associates you have to speak to, and C. How many different reasons they provide you as to the reason you cannot price match this item. Then let me know how that goes... if you care to.

Lastly, I'll end by saying they don't follow their coupon policy either. No store ever has the same policy as the next store concerning these two topics (price match and coupons). At least not any store I've visited in DC, Md, Va, or NC.

if anyone has any problems pricematching please listen to me it's a quick call..you need to contact the FTC if more people will complain there can be a class action lawsuit. trust me? i have called all over complaining about what happened to me. i was gonna sue but? i dont think false advertisement will be heard in court UNLESS more people complain because this is obviously still happening all over!
