First, I am not an ex employee however was offered a job to work here. I was called by "Break Through Consulting" last year they said they had a position for an "Account Manager" for their Nascar account. I came in and the guy interviewing me asked me how I was doing face to face sales and explained the position is for getting people to sign up and replace their windshields and that I would have to start as an entry level  employee and work my way up to manager. He didnt have business cards and I never followed up on the job. However the lobby was filled with applicants waiting for interviews.

So a year later I was called by "Management Group" and it was to work as an account manager for a Charity. Of course that is in the line of work I am interested in so I asked what were the  details. Nikki the one booking the interview said it was a Account Manager position hours were Mon-Fri 8-5pm pay from $30,000 to $35,000 depending on my experience and education.

I booked the interview and was excited. I live in Kissimmee and had to drive to Altamonte which is a long drive but I felt it was worth checking out. Once I got there I seen this "Management Group" was in the same office as "Break Through Consulting" I was a bit confused once I was called in for an interview in the exact same office but this time a women "Angie" and young 20 something girl. The lobby was the same story full of well dressed and educated applicants. So Angie asked me how I was engaging with people, from1 to 10. And she explained they do marketing for "Children International" or "Children.org" and that I would make $800 dollars a week and when I get to manager I will make $75,000 per week. But she said I have to start at the bottom and work my way up and if they like me I will go into management. At the end of the interview she said they normally have a board meeting to decide but she felt condifent in expediting my interview process from 4 rounds to 2.

She schedualed a second interview with me the next morning. At which time I came in and was handed off to "Dara" she had a great attitude and personality and was very passionate about raising money for the charity," Children International." So she said her part ofthe interview we will go out into the field and do door to door campaigning. Just to see how I do. If I could do it was a go. So we spent about 5 hours out in the field knocking on doors and talking to people in an upscale Maitland neighboor hood and no one signed up for the charity. In the end she explained that it would take a good 2 years to get to the manager position and she had been there for a while and was looking forward to getting into the manager position. So I went back to the office and meet with Angie again.

Angie pointed out Larry Ziess picture talking about him being the manager here. But she was promoted and being sent to open a new location in another city and once I am manager I can open an office in another city. She said that since I start at the bottom and work my way up I will getpaid $35.00 per day and $50.00 for each person we sign up to the charity. And that they wanted me to work 10 hours per day 6 days a week and knock on 60 doors per day and loop back 3 times to make sure I asked each person. She said this is the most effective means of marketing for the company. So I would make $210 base pay per week garenteed. And the average sign ups were 2 per day for new people. She then offered me the job and told me to be back there in the morning.

Then I camein the next morning really early. They gave me the first day papers to fill out. All of which are contracts that state I will use my own car and I have to cover them on my insurance and I pay for my own gas and basicly a contact that releases them from any libaility whatsoever. Personal injury, damage, etc.

The second form says I am paid 35 bucks per day and that if no one signs up for the charity then I wont get paid until I sign some one up again. So no matter if you work 10 hours a day 6 days a week your not getting paid unless people sign up. And it has to be more than 1 per day. Next so you wont get paid after the third day of not signing people up you also wont get the money from signing people up till 3weeks after until the charity releases the sign up and clears it. So your not getting paid and in the contract the company WorldGroup Inc has the right to change this pay at any time or withhold it.

Needless to say I walked out.

I want to urge anyone who reads this to follow through this process of interviewing and keep a record of what they say and what happens and when they hand you this payment contract save it and walk out. Then file a report to the Department of Labor.  Orlando has an office here.

1. Wages for working 10 hours a day 6 days a week is 210 which is about 3 dollars an hour and after you invest your time, gas, money, saftey, to goout and knockon doors you are working for free.

2. Call the original company and report them. What they are doing is using the hiring process to find anyone dumb and desperate to take this "Hopeful" position preying on young college graduates giving them false information to get them in the door taking them out into the field in the interview. Using "turn over" as a means to make profits.

3. This company is not performing the work it is being paid to do "marketing" they know that 90 % of people will say no so they dont want to pay their employees or hire sufficient staff so they can do the job while they are pocketing the money they are paid and ripping off poor willful interviewies.

4. Call whom ever they say your representing in my case it was "Children International" they were suprised to learn about this company and from my impression they were shocked someone was using their name to collect money. They are commiting fraud.

Contact your local Department of Labor to report these people. Current employees or interviewies.
