Yucaipa Valley Flowers, 1 800 Flowers.com Does not deliver flowers, on second try delivers wrong flowers after hours. Ripoff! Yucaipa California

I placed an order through 1 800 flowers.com to have a multicolored rose arrangement sent to my girlfriends place of business on valentines day. She never recieved the flowers, and the florist insisted that she had personally signed for them at 12 noon the day of, even though her company records and security show her leaving before 12 noon and there was no record of any delivery for her that day (her company logs every single visitor in a register and the reception area).

When we called 1800 flowers to get a confirmation from the florist, the florist refused to take our calls and help us, just kept insisting that they had delivered them. We finally got in touch,and when we laid our evidence out on the table, they admitted that they had not delivered the flowers and had no explanation of why. Being reasonable, I asked that 1800 flowers give me a credit to use to order flower on her birthday, less than a month away.

I requested the same bouquet to be sent on march 2nd to the same address. Knowing that the first florist had screwed up, 1800 flowers still contracted them to do the second delivery, and they delivered the wrong boquet of flowers at 4:55 pm the day of. We thought since Yucaipa Valley florist had made a mistake before that they would have tried their best to make it up by delivering the flowers in a timely manner and by delivering the correct flowers.

We contacted them to see if they would make ammends, and the shop manager was as rude as possible. She argued that because they arrived before 5pm that there was no issue, and that because they had run out of multicolored roses, they just substituted red. under normal circumstances, this would not have been a big deal, but imagine this from the customers view. We ordered a product to be delivered, it was not, and the florist first refused to provide any customer service, then when they were backed into a corner, barely admitted any wrongdoing, did not apologize or make any effort to amend.

Then, when the flowers were set to be re-delivered, they send the wrong product as late as humanly possible, in my opinion, purposely. When we called and informed them of our dissatisfaction, the shop manager was rude and had no regard for the customer satisfaction, only kept repeating that they had delivered flowers before 5 and that it was all they were responsible for doing. As for 1800 Flowers.com, they contract through the cheapest florists they can find with no regard for the quality or service provided by that florist.

I did some research in the Yucaipa area, and locals had nothing but horrible things to say about Yucaipa Valley Flowers, telling me that anyone from Yucaipa knows better than to do business with them. They have a history within their community of bad service and rude workers. Please think twice before ordering from 1800 flowers and do not order directly from Yucaipa valley flowers unless you would like them to take your order, your money, and not deliver the product and /or deliver it late and wrong.
