Zwicker & Associates Threats to take my house, my land and my job Multiple Cities Andover Massachusetts

First let me say that I have legitimate debt with the original creditor. I have had extreme health set backs and consequently debts which have left me unable to make monthly payments to more than one creditor. I have hired a debt liquidation company for assistance. We are just getting started.

Zwicker has made contact with me 3 times so far. Each time I try to explain that I am not refusing to pay my debt, I'm working with a company to negotiate a payment to the original creditor. They kept telling me that the original creditor doesn't negotiate with my company and that my account has been turned over to them. At the end of phone call #1 we had reached an em passe.

I have received a letter from Zwicker that threatens a lawsuit and suggests how DUMB I will look in front of a judge.

Today was the worst call ever. I'm pretty sure the guy failed to tell me that he was NOT an attorney, but I told him the same thing I've told the others. He kept pressuring me for payment and when I explained that I am quite literally broke, he started threatening me. He threatened my house, the land it sits on and my job.
I told him actually I yelled at him that I am trying to work out a settlement - but he had already hung up on me.

I went online to see what I could find out about them and that led me here. Several other posts have given me ideas on what I can do - so I feel there is some hope!
