Global Alliance For International Advancement Offered me contracts for grant funds of $50,000 for a $2500 membership. New York New York

At http://www.gaiadv.org/Registration/ the date of their convention is set at 9-11 May 2009, but a web search reveals no other information about it. Does anyone know if this event actually occurred? There is still suspiciously little specific information about anything they've done that I can recover from a web search. I would be pleased if this was a legit organization doing what they claim but nothing so far points that way except unsubstantiated opinions on web forums.

Before you believe what you are told on the phone, do some digging.

I found another web site http://un-registry.net/ that looks exactly the same as the main www.gaiadv.org site; having found it I recalled that their rep who phoned me had mentioned such a site. On a hunch, I looked up to whom this site was registered, which you can verify as follows:

The site was registered by one George Salemo. Next, google on this name and you will find someone of exactly that name has been convicted of various frauds going back to 1965 (see e.g. http://vlex.com/vid/36117802)

An organization run for the public benefit that insists on taking your credit card details without giving you any documentation of substance? An organization that does a wide range of projects involving the UN with _no_ substance on their web site of past projects and office bearers' track records?

Through additional research and investigation I discovered that the Global Alliance for International Advancement was indeed not a scam. I have spoken with several caring and sincere individuals who without any pressure took the time to fully explain how the organization works. am looking forward to visiting and meeting with GAIA members and officials during a trip to New York in February 2009.
