This company is a nightmare. This month, I have filed a lawsuit in Small Claims Court. So far, no response. I bought a 26'' LCD TV in 2002 at Zeller's. It had a factory defect in that the power supply board was always left on stand-by, even though the TV was turned off with the remote. After several years of this, the circuitry board in the power supply just quit suddenly on October 13, 2009. I did not get the TV back until February 11, 2009 because they could not find the parts to repair it. I got the full runaround making LD calls to Utah, Texas, Mississauga and even wrote a certified letter to the president. No response.

This company is completely deceitful, the customer support and technical support are non-existent. They are unscrupulous and the internet is full of sites regarding complaints about this company. They have stopped making televisions and I can't find out why. They are completely indifferent to customer complaints and they don't respond to complaints. They presently have a BBB rating in Canada and the U.S. of F. They are not accredited with any BBB.

I was without my TV from Oct 2008 through Feb 2009. They told me they hardly had any parts left and had to keep them for customers who had a TV that was still under warranty.

I feel sorry for anyone who has bought an ACER TV as they have put me through hell. Take them to court is my best advice. The court will force them to respond. Keep your receipts, and any correspondence with them, and contact all the BBBs that you can think of. Boycott them also. I have filed a complaint with NAFTA in regards to their products. They are importers of electronics from Taiwan, then they export their products anywhere they can.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY FROM ACER!!!
