Went to Albertsons in Lewistown MT on Dec. 14, 2011. Spent $200+ ...lo and behold 2 weeks later there is an infestation of sawtooth grain beetles in my cupborads. NEVER had any bugs prior to this. Albertsons has flatly refused to do anything about this issue. They deny they had bugs in their products, store etc, however, we had this bug issue once before in flour we purchased in the same store. I have thrown away over $1200 worth of dry goods, spent over $100 in pesticides and traps, and have over 9 man hours into cleaning, disinfecting our cupboards. The bug infestation was so bad that new unopened boxes of Bisquick was nothing more than a sea of creepy crawly bugs. They got into the Rice a roni, spachetti, boxed potatoes, minute rice flour and on and on. Albertsons has flatly refused to do anything about it except say the Lewistown MT store NEVER has had such a report EVER, THEREFORE, it DID NOT HAPPEN. Talk about being an ostrich.
