Alpha Financial Group, Paula Thomas, Gladys Jones, John West Fraud, Fraudulent Check, Utilities Draw, Lotto, Telephone and Light Bills Houston Texas

Alpha Financial Group mailed a letter and check in the amount of $2,970.00, drawn on Northmark Bank. It looked like a scam, and it is. I researched the web and found a similar report on ripoffreport.com. They were reported out of Canada and an Ireland Lotto. This time its out of the USA and Texas. They state the same...use the enclosed check to make a deposit and then send them the same amount so you can claim the rest of your winnings.

Luckily, someone else reported this to ripoffreport.com, but wasn't as fortunate to catch it before they lost their money. I'm going to try and pursue it a little more on my end to see if we can get authorities to catch up with these criminals.

If we are sending checks to them, somebody should be able to figure out who is picking them up in the mail and cashing them (at least you would think we are smart enough to do that). Anyway, if you get money/check in the mail, it is to good to be true and criminals will take advantage of you in a minute. Just remember, in the end, they are going to need a lot of suntan lotion where they are going, GOD willing!

The names within the letter are: Alpha Financial Group, Northmark Bank (non-existant), Paula Thomas-Manager, Gladys Jones and John West..all reachable at 250-813-1432. As you can probably imagine, non of these names are actually valid.
