This goes back to April/May of 2006 with Beeper N Phones in the Jensen Beach Mall. I had moved from Alabama to Florida and wanted to change just my cell number from Alabama to a Florida number, which I had through Alltel. The Beeper N Phones representative told me that I could do the change through his place since he was an authorized dealer of Alltel. I agreed to do it there since my family frequented the mall. I paid the small fee at the time of the Rep changing my phone number from Alabama to Florida. (Mind you all that I already had a phone and this was not to get a new phone--only getting a local number.)The charge from what I can remember was under $50.

Never thought anything again--until I moved back to Alabama and had my number changed and found on my credit card 4 months later a $400.00 charge. I called my credit card company and told them that I was not in Florida at the time of the unauthorized charge of $400.00 made by Beepers N Phones, Jensen Beach, FL. It took my credit card company about 3-4 months to get the charge taken off my account. They found it to be unauthorized. That was all back in 2006.

Now 2009 I am getting phone calls and letters from an attorney's office located in Lawrence, MA to pay a balance of $789.37. This company Beepers N Phones have made unauthorized charges to my credit card and now trying to unleash an attorney's office to collect their bogus bill. They are theives and liars. And I HATE liars. They will not be getting their bogus bill paid by me.

CONTRACT

Peak Credit Services, LLC purchased the rights to all accounts regarding to Beeper N Phones, (dealer). The facts are such that anyone who went to Beeper N Phones to apply for cellular services with any major cell phone companies, (carrier),were required to sign a contract with the individual cellular service carrier as well sign a second contract with SecureIt. The reason for the SecureIt contract is that the dealer earns a commission from the carrier on all new contracts signed. The customer must keep his/her cell phone for at least 180 days. Failure to do so would result in the carrier back charging the dealer (financial damages) for their commission and cost of the phone. All customers signed the contracts, provided photo id (driver license) and additional form of identification (some form of credit card or debit card). If the customer refused to read the three page contract, why that it is my company is the "rip off" company. Remember, it is the customers responsibility to read and understand all points in a formal contract. If they do not agree with the terms and conditions, my recommendation is do not sign and walk away.
