Blue Hippo Ripped off by Blue Hippo, Money taken from account after telling the company that I wasn't interested. Still they entered my account and took out payments of $47.99 from June until present date Sept Internet

In accordance with the ACH Rules and Operating:

This report is being file due to the company "Blue Hippo", whom made contact with me in March 2009 about ordering a computer from their company. Up front the Sale Rep. wanted my personal information, before talking with them. The sales rep stated that the company could provide me with a computer, with free electronics such as a LCD TV, Color Printer,  and some other items. I then ask at once, if they were going to send the items all together  and the sales rep stated no. I  immediately decline the offer since the items were not coming as a package, and advised that I was not interested. 

This conversation took place in March 2009, not until June 2009 did the company decide to initiate an account after being told no on the phone, and drew money from my account causing major damage to my bank account. Blue Hippo has drawn approximately $1000.00 dollars total from my account along with overdraft fees ranging from $30.00, to $5.00 over a four month period.

My bank notice that the withdrawals were excessive and happen every week or within a two weeks period. Upon going to make a withdrawal from my Bank on Sept 19 2009, the bank inform me that i there were over was overdraft's and that the company Blue Hippo had made the withdrawals. This to me was very much unauthorized and what I consider a Fraudulent transaction or transactions without my approval.

I meet with my bank and they advised that I should close my account,  since the company Blue Hippo had my account number and that they could still make withdrawals if the account was still active. I'm now having to close my account and close my credit card as well. I 'm also having to pay for a stop payment for all the above transactions that have taken place in order to get my monies somewhat refunded by my bank. I was then advised that I could only get the last 60 days, since I had just notice the monies missing since June.

The following transactions consist of the following dates below:

June: 26,

July: 10,17,24,31

August: 7,14,21, an added ACH overdraft's fee from due to "Blue Hippo" of $29.50 for each withdrawal

September: 04, 11, 18  an added over drafted ACH fee of $ 5.00 + the $29.50 for each transaction due to the monies having to be transferred from my saving to the checking account in order for them to obtain access to the account and draft the monies.

  I'm presently writing the State Attorney's Office with the show of transactions drafted from my bank account that was Unauthorized/ Improper ACH Debit Activity, by the Company of "Blue Hippo".  I do not own or have I  been issued any items from the Blue Hippo Company at this time. Simply because, I'm not one of their customers; I do not have or have every had an account with this company. They have taken monies from my account without my permission.

Hi Laura,


I am truly sorry to here about your daughter.  However, the resolution to this problem has been discussed many times over.  Most of you just want to complain, and not read the previous post's for valuable assistance.  If you did, then you would not have posted this.  Your sad story does not change things.  Your actions will.  Read the posts prior to yours, and read the responses/rebuttals.
