if you read the report you would have seen that the 11,000,was for a workout agreement that they did not hold up to there end of the deal,they took the money , and future mortgage payments and still put it in foreclosure,so why would i go rent a house ,and cut my losses,if i held up my end of the deal.. sounds like to me that your one of those corporate countrywide workers ,that try to justify ripping people off,right bet you are. ps this site is for people that been ripoff by people like you,so go find another site to ruin, countrywide will be one of those companies going belly up real soon see yea to cat,i was behind 4months with them and they made out a workout agreement with me. sent them 11000 dollars they said would take care of all the arears and legal fees.then said that my next mortgage payment would be ontrack like usual, i paid them every month the mortgage payment that was due, and to my surprise the house was still in foreclosure ,and had the sheriff at my door telling me that the house was up for sheriff sale.all the workout papers and agreements that we made with them didnt mean anything, they still did what they wanted and didnt even send a letter of foreclosure to notify us after all this, i do have the department of banking investigating this but till then still had to leave the house,im renting but dont plan on dueing this for long,all i no is that i paid my end and still got taken advantage of, im not one for letting things go if i no im not wrong,they shoundnt have made a agreement and took the money and still proceeded with the foreclosure as you can see im not the only one in here with them with this company, theyll get theres

Regardless how many months behind you are - Countrywide could care less - Trust me, I have read you have to be 3 months or 6 months behind before foreclosure - I WAS NOT BEHIND ANY, I REPEAT ANY MISSED PAYMENTS - DOCUMENTS TO PROVE MY CASE - and before Countrywide would drop my house from being foreclosed - I HAD TO PAY - yes pay $4000.00.... Although, I KNEW I had NOT MISSED ANY PAYMENTS - I was backed against the wall, single parent protecting my family - and believe me I contacted ALL FROM A - Z including the WHITE HOUSE...Figure out that one for me.... It's still a mystery with NO ANSWERS. It was a traumatic setback and to this day NOT ONE STRAIGHT ANSWER IS GIVEN TO ME... EXCEPT some lawyer from Lousiana emailed me showing interest in my case and for me to FED-EX documents to him - then he would contact me - WELL, WELL, WELL, guess what (I made copies for the lawyer) I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN, I figure it was some Countrywide lawyer.... Have the emails to prove that, too. How far behind were you with CW? You said you were behind and you gave them $11k? Apparently if you were still put in fc then you were still behind or at least owed them money or fees for being behind? I am just trying to see the full picture. Forclousre happens usually at 6 months unless you had a work out plan once before and fell behind again at which they will then file fc because mortgage companies feel that they will not see their money. Since you did not give us any of those details it is hard to get the entire picture of how far behind you were. I am trying to figure out why a general bk would have lost you the house? That is another part of this I do not understand. Perhaps you can shed some light into some of this so we all have a clearer understanding of the picture. Thanks! Where are you now? Are you renting?

Tom, do you have an update to as what happened to your home? If I would have been you, instead of giving countrywide that $11,000.00, I would have rented a home with that money so my wife and five kids wouldn't be sleeping out on the streets. I would have cut my losses and just moved on.

Anyone having a Mortgage situation with Countrywide Mortgage Home Loans,Try contacting your States Attorney General to file a complaint to stop this company from treating people in need of keeping their homes.There has recently been a Class Action suit opened by The State of California and Alabama Attorney Generals,We need to get people in New Jersey area together to STOP this company from their wrong doing.We need to get a Class Action suit going in New Jersy anyone interested may contact me Tom on this site.Time is of the essence for all families stuggling to keep our homes.
