My boyfriend bought me a ring that was $500, .5 carat diamond, white gold. I didn't like the band because it was too large for my little hand. We decided to upgrade or "trade-in" the ring. We did so and purchased a 1.5 acrat 14K gold engagement ring for $3000. After about a week, I noticed a flaw in the center diamond. I took it back Thursday February 23rd, and the manager said it was "trapped air" in the diamond. Since they were doing inventory, they could not replace the ring until next Thursday and that I was to bring it back in. Well, then the next day, Friday, Fendruary 24th, during dinner with friends and family for my fiance's birthday, my girlfriend looked at my hand and said "Oh My God, Tiff what happened to your ring?" The enitre setting with the 1.0 carat diamond had fallen off and it was pure luck that she found it on the floor. Davis was so embarrassed and upset.

The next day we go to return the ring. The lady said we could have our money back and that they didn't have a problem with it. She gave us a receipt for the $300 cash down we paid, and then said there was a problem with the computer, "a glitch" and that she would call us later to let us know when we can return to pick up the rest of our receipt. We get a call later that evening and the manager is now saying we "left the ring there" and that we cannot return it because it was a final sale. It did NOT say final sale anywhere on our papers. He MADE us pick out another ring, TRIED to get more CASh out of us too. At this point I was o pissed I just picked out a ring so we could leave. He made sure this time to put FINAL SALE on our receipt.

I won't even wear the ring. Throughout the time I was looking at all the different ringsn (our 3rd ring), he made sure he mentioned that he wouldn't sell me "this one or that one" because they were "too cheap" and they would break in a day.
