CVS Pharmacy Beware of Unit Pricing Mt Kisco NY Nationwide
*Consumer Comment: What a moron
As a buyer of Candy at the local CVS i noticed that the larger the package purchased, the higher the unit cost per ounce.
In other words a small package M+M's Peanuts cost 34 cts per ounce, medium sized 39 cts per ounce, and giant size 38 cts per ounce.
When questioned on 1-800-SHOP-CVS, the representative said this was "proprietary company information." I call it pulling a fast-one on the comsumer! Beware at CVS policy...is this the way unit pricing alerts are supposed to work? Do they do this throughout the store? Shop CVS carefully.

What a moron

Are you really posting a "RipOff" for a company that is actually disclosing the "unit price" of their items? So I guess you would prefer that they just list the item price and not worry about that silly unit stuff.
Oh..that is NOT what you are saying? Let me guess, you somehow think that a store doesn't have the right to set their own prices and that it must always be a case where the smaller item has a bigger unit price.
Again I restate the title..what a MORON.
You provided a half-a** example. Heck we don't even know how many ounces are in the small, medium or large. We have no idea if perhaps the medium and small were on sale. Oh and the biggest thing we don't know is just how many items did you have to go through before you found your "example". Let me guess..it was the very first thing you saw as you walked in the store and every single other item is the same way and you know that for a fact because you spent 6 hours looking at every single price tag...right?
