Purchased cybersonic toothbrush on 10/10/01 with my mastercard and payed for it all at one time to get the 10 day guaranteed shipping. I refused shipment on 11/12/01 because it didn't make it on the guaranteed date. Signed for on 11/19/01 by P. Lopez at Cybersonic. It is now 2/19/02 and I am still waiting on my refund back to my credit card. After numerous phone calls, faxes and certified letters sent to Cybersonic we still don't have our refund. They told me my refund was internalized on 12/20/01 and would be manually input for a refund in 5-7 days. This is the same message you get everytime you call. The phone message is all their operators are busy, call back later or they keep you on hold for 15 to 20 minutes and then they disconnect you. They are very rude. I consider this stealing. They have had the toothbrush back and have still kept our money and making interest on it. Do not deal with this company. They are robbers of the worst kind. They should not be allowed to do business. If anyone else has had this problem with this company, please make a rip-off report and lets put these people out ot business. My name is Andy Arvidson and I worked with the shipping company that shipped Cybersonic toothbrushes from June 2001 to January 2002.
My company was not at fault for the delayed shipping or the refund delay to the customer. All of that was handled by yet another company, who no longer works for Amden Corporation, the manufacturer of Cybersonic.
If the customer never did receive their refund, they should call 800-770-7525. I believe this is the current toll-free number for Amden/Cybersonic.
